Work as expected, would buy again

This product seems to be misunderstood. There is enough energy to keep your feet from getting cold but they are not intended as a toe-toaster. The socks have warming elements embedded that run all down back of shin, sole and wrap around the toe. If you turn them on in a warm room they won't seem especially hot. But in real application they will keep your feet from going numb while fly-fishing in 40 degree water for four hours. I like that the battery pack is sold separate so you can share the battery across users. My wife uses them on cold ski days, I use my pair for fishing. Note that there is a 10% discount when buying 3 or more pairs of socks and they don't have to be the same size. The discount applies to all 3 pairs so effectively the 3rd sock is 31% off We have the XLP Bluetooth battery and the app controls the temp easily from our iphone12 &13

Eh

They are alright. I get extremely cold in the winter/cold seasons and thought the ~$300 investment would be worth it for these socks (and the batteries that are sold separately). I didn't like that the batteries were sold separately, but I suppose there is a reason for that, so whatever, but they are crazy expensive. The socks are really cozy, but what really sucks, is what I assume are the heating wires only heat up a spot underneath the toes (and maybe the heel of your foot?). With that said, these socks really don't get that warm...and yes, I said warm, not hot! Like I tried these on after charging the batteries inside my house just to see if they work and I was a bit disappointed that they don't really heat up. Probably a safety thing and I'm sure people with better circulation would think it's too much, but for me, it sucks. I finally wore them for my job that involves working outside and I think the socks themselves (without the heating) seemed alright and then the heating kept my feet from going cold, but it really didn't last long. And once my feet go cold, it's hard for them to warm back up unless I am moving my body around and using my muscles. I wouldn't recommend these unless you are using these for winter sports or if you work indoors in a cold room (like in summer). Otherwise, I feel like you would have a better chance using regular socks (including these, but without the batteries).
