Easy in and easy out for these shoes. They fit perfectly (size 45 = men’s US 10.5). Not hard to walk around in when not clipped into the pedals. I wouldn’t hike the Appalachian Trail in them, but perfectly fine to walk for a while. I tried on a different brand and didn’t like how hard they were to get into. These are consistently easy, but my foot stays well anchored on the bike.
Even though these are for mountain biking, I like them for road shoes.
I’ve owned these for three plus years now and mainly use them for gravel riding. They have held up exceptionally well, are comfortable, are easy to dial in your preferred snugness level and are easy to walk around in. My only caveat is that I would prefer a roomier toe box.
