While putting my shoes on this morning, I suddenly realized that my foot pain has vanished in the two months since I bought these. After being in a boot for three months from an “Avulsion fracture of distal fibula, Non-displaced”, I had to find the best shoe possible. Believe me, I searched high and low. Cost was not an issue. All roads led me back to Saucony, a brand that has earned my loyalty over 30 years. I had constant pain over those three months in the boot, thinking it would never end. But when pain goes away, you generally don’t realize it right away. Funny that it took me two months to have my a-ha! moment this morning. Saucony loyalty for life!
I have had foot issues in the past and the sneaker I had been wearing changed its style. Someone recommended I try the omni 20 with hopes it would keep my plantar at bay and my other issues . I purchased my first pair at a local store that lets you wear the sneaker with a 30 day return policy. I had zero issues . The omni 20 fit perfect! I am on my feet all day at work and home and I walk miles ! My feet ,knees and hips all have zero issues with these sneakers ! Thanks Saucony! Oh and I also have to mention the quality ! That first pair I got 6 solid months of wearing them ! I can still put them on on a rainy day !
I've been wearing only Saucony shoes since 2005. Can't wear the cute women's shoes due to bad foot and sciatia. My last pair are still comfortable but needed an extra pair. I ordered the Omni 20 which arrived quickly. The first thing I noticed was the paper thin cardboard shoe liner. Although the shoe fits it rubs in the heel, my pinkie toes and on top of my foot where the shoe ties. I've worn them in the house for several hours a couple of days now. They are the most uncomfortable shoes & I'm now having pain in my foot. I know I should have gone to a store to try on shoes but I live 1 1/2 hours from civilazation. I'm so disappointed because Saucony has always been my brand!
I absolutely used to love the Omni 19 version. It helped with my arches and prevented pain when running. However, after running/walking about 50 miles in the new Omni 20 version, I can safely say these do not work as well at the Omni 19. My ankles almost immediately start to hurt when I run with them, and that never happened when I used my past 3 pairs of Omni 19. It’s very sad. I’m unhappy with my purchase and can’t find any Omni 19 ones online to use again. I’m going to have to search for a different pair of running sneakers for good arch support because the Omni 20 version has underdelivered.
So disappointing. I have been wearing Omni for years to run, and the redesigned Omni 20 has been narrowed across the toe bed (and this is the Wide fit). I agree with Ted C review below. I wore them 2x to run and developed such horrible blisters below my left big toe from rubbing against the lateral open overlay that I had to break from running for over a week to allow them to heal. I tried on the next version down in Saucony stability running shoes and that redesign has the same narrowed toe as well. After decades of being loyal to Saucony, I’m now in search of another brand. Total bummer.
I’ve tried so many brands and I always come back to this one. This specific style is by far my favorite. I have scoliosis, sciatica, RA, collapsing arches, over pronation etc. These shoes are the only ones where my feet don’t hurt after 12 hour shifts (aka 14 hours… if you know, you know). I’m supposed to wear orthotics with a lift on one side but they’re uncomfortable for long shifts, so I always just dealt with the pain. These are the best shoes I’ve found in the last 15 years. I’m throwing out all of my other work shoes and getting a second pair. Can’t wait for more colors!
I love these shoes as I have a wide foot. But two problems: 1. The shoelaces are TOO LONG. If one comes untied during a workout I am certain I will fall 2. The toe always wears out first!! See photo. Same for 4 pair.
After my disappointing fit experience with the Peregrine 12 Wide shoes, Saucony was gracious enough to allow me to exchange them for Omni 20s (I needed to replace my worn out Omni 19s). The Omni 20s fit my feet like a dream. I'm flat-footed with bunions, so a good fit is super important for me to keep running longer distances pain-free. I ran a half marathon with them yesterday and my feet/legs feel great today! My one request is that it would be really nice if Saucony made their wide shoes in more fun colours, but all in all I'm super happy with these shoes!
I used the live chat and asked which shoes compared to the Omni 16s, I was told the Omni 20 but these are "nothing" like the Omni 16s, these are very narrow, not much cushion, the material on the sides is not smooth and rubs on my feet giving me a blisters, the couple times that i wore them for a full workday my feet hurt so bad that i had to wait a few days before I could wear them again, im so disappointed that i spent alot of money on shoes that I cant wear to work...
I've been wearing the Saucony Omni (Women's 10 Wide) shoe since 2012, but this Saucony Omni 20 version is the most uncomfortable and off-fitting of every version since then. The arch feels very different than previous Omni versions. The arch also doesn't feel wide enough. I have worn Saucony for the wide-friendliness but this weird, elevated, narrow fit in the arch is not anything that I'm used to. The shoe overall isn't as roomy as other years. Extremely disappointing!
We're sorry that the fit of the Omni 12 was not what you were expecting. We appreciate your feedback and will share it with our product team. Thank you!
