These shoes come in women's sizing; So iLL suggests women order their street shoe size and men order 1.5 sizes above their street shoe size. Example: if you wear a women's size 9 sneaker, select size M7.5 / W9. If you wear a men's size 9 sneaker, select size M9 / W10.5

Size up 1.5 to your original shoe size for a snug fit. For a comfortable fit, size up 2. I'm a size 7.5 shoe in women's and I ordered a 9.5. Fits great and climbs even better!
I LOVE these shoes! They absolutely helped with my climbing and have the best fit for me out of all the shoes I have cycled through from other companies (I used to have La Sportiva and Scarpa shoes) for the last decade I’ve been climbing. These are my go to shoes, and I haven’t touched my other pairs for months now. They are super sticky and flexible which means they’re really great for volume work, and the sticky top rubber is amazing for toe hooks. Also I’m constantly being asked at the gym where they’re from and getting comments on how cute the color is! One note: I wear a 7 street shoe and had to size up to an 8.5 for a tight fit, also took a few sessions to break them in. They run very small, but the first few times of pain are absolutely worth it.
Hi everyone. I was SO excited to get these in the mail but my happiness quickly waned as soon as I tried to put them on. As per the other reviewers I went two full sizes up. This was not even CLOSE. I feel like one of cinderella's stepsisters trying to put in the glass slipper. It's that ridiculous, lol! Anyway, they are pink which I love, and which is hard to find in a climbing shoe, so I'm returning and reordering in 3 and a half sizes larger, with the hope that they will fit. If so, I will climb with them and adjust my review as needed. Happy climbing everyone!
Interesting fit. Wish they weren’t discontinued. I broke my big toe about 6 months ago and my old climbing shoes (scarpa vapor laces) are now uncomfortable to wear. I usually wear 11 1/2 men’s sneakers, I got these in size 13 1/2. At first I was worried that the toe box was too small, but as soon as it warmed up it fit perfectly. The heel feels a little insecure, but not enough to cause a worry. The rubber is really nice and sticky. You get a good level of sensitivity through the sole. I am going to guess that it won’t last as long as I’m used to, as it seems significantly softer, but I’m holding out hope.
These are my first aggressive shoes. I am upgrading from a neutral Evolv (9.5) in women's. Even reading the product sizing chart and suggestion, I thought 9.5 would be good. The fit itself is good. It fits snug to my heels and midsole which is great but my toes are all curled and hits the top of the shoe very uncomfortably. I will be exchanging in store for another half size (10). Hopefully that does the trick. Otherwise style, color, feel and look is on point. Can't wait to break these in once I get the right size.
I followed the previous reviews and the sizing chart that these run small and ordered 1.5 size above my street shoe size (8 street size, ordered a 9.5), and they fit perfectly! No extra space in the heel area, which I sometimes get when trying on aggressive/downturned shoes. These are a little down turned, but not crazy aggressive that they’re uncomfortable. It took about 4 climbing sessions to get used to the edges since I had worn down my previous shoes quite a bit, but now I can feel my feet better and trust the small foot holds. Lots of rubber on the top for toe hooking. The only thing that I would change is the straps. They’re not terrible, but because the strap looks like it’s meant to go in a zig zag to secure the Velcro, it doesn’t pull the flaps of the shoe together as tightly, and I need to use two hands to Velcro it down as tightly as I like. Hasn’t been a huge problem though. It’s never felt like it was going to fall off.
Impulsively purchased these shoes for how awesome the design and shade of pink was. My experience with climbing with these shoes for a month: (1) The break-in period was relatively short (about 3-4 uses) (2) Most comfortable pair of aggressive shoes I've owned compared to my previous shoes (miuras, otakis, and drones HV) (3) Performance for these shoes is exceptional, I was able to send my toughest projects (V6s and my first V7) (4) You'll get a bunch of climbers complimenting your pink shoes and saying how cool/hype they are :D
These are my third pair of So iLL shoes and they are fantastic! I love the stiffer toe box and heel retention is great. The LV fits my foot really well. I'm looking forward to hear about the new Free Range Pro and maybe a LV version of it??
I followed directions and ordered 1.5 sizes up. For reference, I wear size 10.5 shoes, so I bought size 12 in these So iLL Free Range shoes. They’re drastically too short and my toes are curled up inside them. But the heels are way too big and my foot would pop out the back if I were to ever wear these. I won’t bother getting a larger size due to the heels being too wide. These will be going back.
I have been climbing for 10 years, Sport, boulder ,and trad. I Love these shoes.. I have been a diehards Sportiva user for eight years now, and I'm constantly find myself reaching for these over my solutions. These are made in America in the old 510 factory, and remind me very much of Highangles. I'm on my 3 pair and very happy. The rubber seems to be stick your and if it's softer then the Vibram which is nice the only downside is it wears out quicker.
