Love My Chaco’s
Chacos are a high quality versatile sandal. I have the Z2 with the vibram sole and still going strong after several years. Just purchased this one and absolutely love it and the design. I think the fudge color looks better in person. They are so comfortable right out of box. Some people may not be familiar with how the strap adjustments work. Once you figure it out you will seldom have to adjust then. Highly recommend.
Terrific Sandals
I purchased these for a friend as I have a pair myself. These are my go-to summer "shoes". They offer the rare combination of cool & comfortable summer flip-flops that can just be slipped on, as well as solid arch-support. I walk miles and miles with my pair and my feet never get tired, sore or blistered. When my eventually wear out, I'll buy another pair. Highly recommended. One thing to note. I did have a pair of Chaco's years ago that had a less-smooth footbed. Sort of a sharktooth type of grip surface. Those were much less comfortable for long-term walking that the above. When shopping for Chaco's (they have a ton of varieties that are difficult to ascertain the differences precisely) I recommend making sure you purchase a pair with the "slipperier" footbed surface.
Happy feet, grateful arches
If you already wear Chaco sandals you know that they have the best arch supports of any brand. They also last for years of heavy wear. So, these were what I expected, almost identical to a pair I finally did wear out. I will stay with this brand, this basic model, as long as Chaco makes them. I would have liked the solid red strap like I had in my last pair, but this was OK, and priced well. No need for orthotics… your arches will thank you.
Since when do Chacos hurt your feet?
This is my third pair of Chaco’s I’ve had in about 20 years. The first pair I had lasted a short eternity and were very comfortable. I even hiked with them. But eventually they had to be replaced. I recently purchased this pair, which is the exact same style of the one I had for so many years. But unfortunately, these really hurt my heel and give me blisters every time. I can only wear them from the car to the store and that’s about it. Sad because they seem like such great quality but I doubt I can return them given that they’ve been worn).
Sent me used Chacos
They sent me a pair of used chacos! I was very disappointed to open my box and see they had already been worn. If I bought from the garage portion I would understand but I bought from the outlet so they should have been brand new.
Too wide for narrow feet.
I wanted to love these sandals, but didn't because I have narrow feet. The support of the sole felt great and I liked the color options. Unfortunately, the sandals felt big and clunky even though I purchased the correct size. I returned them.
All straps not adjustable
Nice looking sandal and great arch support. Now the negative. The straps are not completely adustable. The one at the top of my foot was too loose and the one at the arch was too tight. They’re going back
