Love this one - Wish Northface made something similar for Me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a California girl that was traveling to the East coast and wanted to be prepared for the below 40 degree weather and rain. This jacket was perfect since it provides great coverage down through the legs! I wore this almost daily and it has kept me warm. On rainy days it also kept my pants dry which is amazing. The only issues with this jacket is when you squat down the zipper will split but easily fixed. Also trying to get into a car can be kind of a challenge! These two issues don't prevent me from providing 5/5 stars on this jacket though and i love the deep pockets and hidden pocket inside the jacket. I got quite a few compliments on this as well - which is always fun to receive!

Highly recommend light and warm

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Best parka I've ever owned! I love the color, it's a perfect nude with the right amount of color. It is soooo light weight but soo warm!! 10/10! It has been perfect for cold Texas football games and the freezing temperatures in the Colorado mountains! Easy to travel with.

Not warm when temps dip under mid 20's.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This coat is roomy, I sized down one size but probably could have sized down another. I'm a slightly disappointed because this coat is not very warm for mid 20's and below. I spend about an hour walking my dog outside everyday. I was hoping for a jacket that I could throw on to keep me warm while walking but I can feel the cold seep in through the top of the shoulders and the arms. This jacket is very light weight and comfortable but seems to be almost more like a mid layer vs a stand alone jacket. It's seems over priced for a coat that needs a second jacket under it to be warm enough....

I would definitely buy this coat again ! Awesome Quality!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The coat is excellent quality. I wear for early morning and evening walks in the Northeast. I am never wet or cold. Hood stays up - good size dimension make it practical. Love how easy the coat is to care for. The sleeve design keeps air out at the wrist.

Comfy & Warm

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As everyone states this coat does run huge. I diet ordered a medium then small in the mew khaki (army green) color and could honestly go down to an extra small but I'm 5'9 and worry about the sleeve length (not to mention it's sold out). I don't mind a looser fit to allow layering. It's very warm and super comfy. I live in Denver where the winters aren't terrible - it's been great for walking my dogs. I wear it in anything below 50, it's quite versatile. It's also great when you head up to the mountains and keeps you nice and toasty in colder more sever weather.

Worth it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I owned a very similar Northface to this one for 15 years and I just donated it last winter! I'm so glad I made this purchase, you have no idea! I love to read all the comments and then do a little research of my own. SIZE- I visited the Northface store and asked about this coat, they did not sell it in the store but the employee said a few people who bought it online, did an in-store return due to the sizing. He said to SIZE DOWN and he was right! I chose to go with his advice and get a Medium instead of a Large and it fits perfectly! This is NOT a form fitting/ flattering coat at all! It is boxy and YES, you will look boxy lol but if you are going for practicality, warmth and most importantly length, then this coat is what you want! (If you are looking for a more silhouette appeal, the Metrapolis Parka is the go to - I tried this on in the store-not as long and runs small! Size up, especially if you are busty and curvy) LENGTH- I'm 5'3 and I was hesitant to buy this because the model on the website is said to be 5'10 and the coat touches her calf's. Well, it touches my calf's too so all good! Just GET IT! You can always return it if you don't enjoy it, but it's exactly what you need for those upstate NY winters shoveling snow and those brick NYC walks from Port Authority to work! K bye!

I LOVE THIS "WINTER" COAT!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered this coat last week & it snowed in the Washington DMV area this week. I wore a short sleeve T-shirt to work and was sweating driving with heat on low in my SUV...had to take coat off. The coat does what it promised "to keep me warm". It was windy and I didn't feel a breeze. Its a WINTER coat for sure & does what it describes. Shoving snow off my SUV it felt "light-weight". I adore the loose fitting for my sweaters, hoodies, sweater work dresses and long-john thermal shirts underneath - thumbs up NF! At delivery, the box felt "too light", I thought to myself "hold up a second!". I pulled coat out box & put it on...it sorta "puffed up" pulling out & shaking. Highly recommend to friends and family. Its a Winter Coat not Astronaut Suit....

Hood flew off on rollercoaster! But still love the coat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the look of this coat and it keeps me warm. I have had for a couple weeks and I wear it all the time!! However, I had to take away a star.... First, for the filling that pokes through, sometimes it hurts with sharp feathers! Second...NF please do away with snaps on the hoods. When I wore my cross body purse, if I took off purse, hood came off with it. But doesn't matter anymore, I was on a roller coaster and the hood flew off!! It was funny and honestly, the snaps were are bad, now I never have to worry about the hood anymore!

I would but again only on sale

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Luckily I read the reviews before buying it- and I'm so glad I did! I'm usually a L but bought the S and it could not have fit better. So yeah, the sizing is WAY off on this one, but if you buy it two sizes smaller you will get a fantastic, warm jacket that goes down to your knees! Zippers are solid, hood has adjustable elastics and it fits wide hips well (it's not too narrow, no overstretched fabric over my hips). The only other downside is the sleeves could be a touch longer/elasticized/fitted so as not to let cold air in.
