The Holy Grail of Long Parkas

I have been waiting for someone to create the perfect long down parka: mid-calf, fabric cuffs, medium-heavy weight fill, zip hand pockets, interior zip pocket at the top (not at the knees), a collar that zips under the chin, an ADJUSTABLE and REMOVABLE hood, and a great color (white). I am thrilled with this parka. It checks all the boxes. In addition, it is just slightly fitted at the top and a little wider at the bottom so I can actually walk comfortably in it but not look like a walking triangle. The quality is what you would expect of The North Face. I am looking forward to having a parka that covers my bad leg during the cold weather.

Great winter coat

Love the jacket but the sizings are off depending on length of the coat. I am generally a size medium average but in the mid length coat I need a size XL to layer comfortably underneath but in the long length I needed a size L as the XL was way too big. Something to keep in mind. It's is very sleeping bag-esque but when that really cold New England weather hits I'll be thankful my legs are covered. This is not for everyone though.

Runs really big!

I love the style and feel of this jacket, but the sizing is way off. I typically wear an XL in The North Face, and the size chart confirmed that should be right. However, the jacket was huge on me. I went to the store to exchange it and ended up fitting perfectly into a medium-two sizes down.

the perfect parka for freezing cold weather!

I love this coat so much I bought one for myself and for others. They are super warm and comfortable, and I like that the logo is stitched on in black versus being a white sticker. They look great on and are true to size.

Warm long coat

the coat is nice and warm. Being so long it kind of restricts my walking. Wish it had some shape or style to it, it's straight all the way. I'm thinking about getting the size S, may be it wouldn't be that big

Ugly, huge , oversize , no style , no shape.... NEVER !

I do not like this coat at all. No shape, oversize, just huge... I have northface for many years and it was warm, lightweight very cozy and pretty... What happen with you? I have to return asap.

Worth It!

Bought this in person at the North Face store, was pleasantly surprised with the warmth! Can definitely withstand Midwest winter, and feels nice and light.

My favorite winter coat ever

This is a great coat! Keeps me very warm, is light, no big logo, people literally stop me On the street to say they like my coat! I love it.

Northface quality is getting worse

Surprised about the lack of quality considering price tag. The material felt cheap.
