✨ Perfect for the short girlies ✨
I am head over heels in love with this puffer jacket! As a shorter gal, I've always had issues finding the right fit with puffy jackets – they tend to be too boxy and unflattering, especially around the hips. But this North Face puffer is a game-changer! I spent a good amount of time debating between a Small and a Medium, and I'm so glad I opted for the Small. It fits me like a dream! There's enough room to comfortably layer a sweater or a thicker outfit underneath without feeling restricted. Plus, the jacket doesn't let in even a hint of cold air, keeping me toasty and warm in chilly weather. I love how this jacket accentuates my figure without sacrificing comfort. It doesn't drown me in fabric or make me look shapeless. Finally, I can stay warm and stylish without feeling like I'm wearing a bulky tent! The quality is exactly what you'd expect from North Face – top-notch. The materials feel durable, and the stitching is impeccable 👌 I can tell this puffer jacket is going to be a reliable companion for many winters to come.

Cute jacket, seems overpriced for what it is
I am on the fence about this jacket. On the one hand it's a very very cute hooded puffy down jacket of a good weight for a PNW winter that fits me and looks flattering (I'm a 00/0 or XXS/XS and bought the XS). On the other, it lacks features I'd expect to see at this price point (adjustment bungees, at least one more pocket, preferably an inside pocket) and I'd like a little more insulation so it would be useful on really cold days. It feels a tad understuffed and I worry about the down shifting when washed. But mostly it's that it looks more like a chopped off normal jacket (not as obvious in photos as when worn) than a jacket that was designed as a cropped jacket, maybe because it doesn't have a ribbed hem. I also think this cropped silhouette, which I did not realize would look this cropped, is too trendy and will look dated a few years from now. It's not super short on me (I'm 5'2" with a relatively short torso) but I'd still prefer it to be just an inch or so longer. For the sale price I might keep it, but I think I probably won't because if I'm going to spend this much I want something more classic. I can find a cute jacket about this weight (albeit not down) on Amazon for probably $30 if I really want to try the cropped puffer look.

Perfect travel jacket

I love this jacket. It's super functional and the shape/cut of the fit is cute but not too cropped where it becomes too specific for certain activities. I bought for a trip to San Francisco and it was absolutely perfect for PNW weather. The jacket itself is really warm and seems to be perfect for the 30-50 degree range. I range between small & medium, but I think a medium was perfect in this jacket to layer under if needed and it's still fairly fitted to me (5'6, 125 lbs). A small would have been a little too fitted/cropped for my liking but any bigger than a medium and it would be too cropped where air would flow in through the bottom.

Cute but featureless

I like the style of the jacket but for the price, I feel like it should come with some "feature" if you feel me, like extra inside pockets for your stuff, something to cinch the waist, or maybe a detachable hood. I sized up to a medium so it would fit over sweaters and still has a cropped but barely oversized look. I'm 5'4" 130 lbs, 32C, athletic top but more curvy bottom for reference.

winter jacket

I like this jacket; not my fav (sorry patagonia wins) but not my least favorite. I'm 5'10 145 lbs and purchased a small. It fits properly but it's not quite as warm as I expected. The pockets at some places have absolutely no feathers and the wind just breaks through them straight to your hands; that's my only critique. Otherwise comfortable fit, although I would be curious how a medium would fit on me. Hope this helps someone!

Reminds me of the 1970’s

I love this coat. I bought it in Medford, Oregon. It is so warm and light weight. It reminds me of the jackets I wore in the 70’s, that were puffy and comforting. The Almond Butter color is lovely and a nice change from black. I had the opportunity to wear it on an early morning walk recently when the temperature was only 40 degrees. It kept me warm and the hood was a perfect fit, and so simple, no complex snaps, strings or adjustments.

Perfect for petite women!

This jacket is perfect. I got the white color, I am 5’2 and 110 lbs. I debated between the xs and s in store but I’m glad I went with the small so I could layer a sweater or pullover under this if needed. I am 31 years old and have always struggled with jackets drowning me. This is the PERFECT length for petite women. I finally feel like a warm jacket is going to flatter me, and I’m excited to wear it.

Only good above 40F

It says 600 down but it doesn’t keep me warm under 40F. I went on a hike in very cold weather with this jacket in Chicago today and it did not keep me warm at all! This is just a jacket to walk around the town.

Fake reviews awful quality

Bought this and was super excited to have a new Northface. Immediately noticed it was super thin and quality wise was about on par with a cheap SHEIN jacket. I looked up the reviews confused how a Northface doesn’t “feel” like a Northface and sure enough the reviews are all “promotion” reviews. Had I received this jacket for free or cheap I would have left a good review too but I paid 220$ for about a 35$ dollar item. Returned immediately and informed the store as well that it’s a padded review product.

Amazing warm puffer jacket

I bought this jacket for my daughter when it was on sale and I'm glad I did! She loves it so much and keeps her super warm during Northern California winters. Not super waterproof. I wouldn't recommend wearing it during a rain storm. I would highly recommend buying one.
