Another Great Peli to Add to the Collection!
Needed a waterproof phone/wallet container that could maybe hold some other extra essentials if needed, but primarily a waterproof container for my phone and wallet. Came across this on sale and the 1050 does not fit the iPhone 11 Pro and the Ruck did, and it had two convenient spots to put in. It also came with three Velcro straps to play around with interior items for quick access. It has a top hammock like net that quick attaches for easy access for phones, as well as the second bottom tray with space underneath. Waterproof and can be attached to my bag or to the kayak with the added attachments ive put on it. Love Pelicans, love the Ruck!
Office Box
I walk every day. I carry my office. It fits in this box. The box fits into the brain of my backpack. It's heavy. It's expensive. I will drown a half hour before water gets in this box. It's just what I needed.
Great case - Horrible Pricing
I love Pelican cases and this one is no exception. However I would recommend purchasing somewhere else. REI charges more than almost any other store for the same item.
Wanted to Love it But....
I had my eye on this for many many months before pulling the trigger and had plans for it being in my get home bag in the car. I wanted a waterproof tech/personal safety holder. Was really excited REI carried it but after finally purchasing I am sadly disappointed!! It's so so much heavier than any other Pelican waterproof case and I don't know if mine was just defective but it was SO hard to open. Like I had to push super hard to get it all the way open and it made a horrible sqeaking sound!! I contemplated using some WD40 but being that it was all plastic I had hesitation it would be a perfect fix. Not to mention it's just pretty hard to open overall and doesn't have the most logical organization option. Sadly this is going back and am now looking at the G40 Go case instead. Super bummed!!!
