Perfect Fit, Perfect Weight, Perfect Fabric

I had been looking for a flannel exactly like this, glad I finally pulled the trigger. A friend told me he buys one every year, and as soon as I his in person I thought it was the perfect material to wear for at least 3 different seasons. It's a "heavy" flannel, but not so tightly woven that it's too hot. It's also a loose enough weave that it's stretchy. The fit is close to perfect. I am 5'10" and 200 lbs athletic/stocky build, and a Large was perfect on me. The sleeves are the perfect length not to pull up when I lift my arms, and the cuff is not so tight that I need to open it to put it on (and they slide over my watch to tell the time). My only concern being the buttons are hard to open/close so I'm afraid I'll lose one at some point but so far they seem pretty well connected.

Terrible, Not Made From A Comfortable Blanket

So with all the hype about this brand and this shirt on other websites, I was excited to give it a try. I hated it immediately. The fabric is rough and coarse, actually it's ribbed, not like corduroy ribbed but deep ribs, I doubt that it will soften over time. The photos make it look like it is lined, but only the collar and top yoke are lined. It is thick, so I think it would keep you warm as long as you stay dry. The fit is weird, I ordered large, which fit well in the chest, shoulders, length, and sleeve length. Normally large button up shirts are a little long in the sleeve for me. However, the sleeves are strangely skin tight for a large. There is no room to layer a tee shirt around the biceps and the forearms are tight as well. If you want to cuff the sleeves you may get one or two cuffs before it becomes tourniquet like. I'm 5'9'', 190lbs, athletic build/crossfit and running.

I have 3 and give them as gifts

These shirts are made to last. You will hand them down when you die or outgrow. The material is heavy weave and softens with continued use..kinda like jeans. Versitile! They look good so can be worn like a semi-casual dress shirt or as an outer layer camping. I love these shirts and they come in a huge variety of color options. Outerknown!!!!
