Great shirt sizes on the side of a slim fit
This is a really soft and sturdy shirt. I like the fact that the pockets are open without buttons or flaps. The fit is fairly trim and form fitting-roomy but not loose: I am 6 ft. 195 lb and a large is comfortable but isn't loose fitting. As it is, unwashed, it is fine for pretty much anything. If it shrinks after washing and gentle drying it will be a problem. A great shirt but order up a size if you want a looser fit.
Warm enough for fall in Michigan's Upper Peninsula
This shirt, along with a thin Smartwool shirt, was all I wore (and a knit cap) during a camping trip to Michigan's Upper Peninsula during a weekend when gusts reached 40 mph and the sun didn't shine thru the clouds once. I think the temps were in the high 40s. I bought a size Large, which is one size bigger than what I usually wear, and it felt roomy and cozy. By the time we got back, and the temps rose to the low 70s, I felt it was too warm for me.
nice fabric, poor construction
True to size. Soft flannel that feels cozy. But the buttons are barely sewed to the shirt. One popped just trying it on. So either all the buttons need to be re-sewn or I’ll have to return it. Too bad.
