I bought this tent to use with my kids as it offered a bit more space than my 3 person tent. For the money this is a great tent. I like having two doors, especially when camping with kids. It assembles easily and seems to be a quality item. I actually brought this on a canoe trip and despite 4+ inches of rain we did stay dry. The zipper are large and open smoothly. I like the vents in the fly to aid in ventilation. It might be a bit heavy for backpacking but if canoeing or car camping it works great. I like the storage bag as it has lash straps that allow me to place the pole sleeve on the outside making more room for the tent, fly, and ground sheet. Great product and I would buy it again.
I’ve used this tent for car camping a handful of times and it’s been a great tent. Extremely easy set up and pretty roomy for 3 of us. I love the two door feature and side windows. I also love that this tent was excellent in the rain, kept us all dry. Excellent tent and very affordable. We love this tent!
IT's been a long time since I've done camping. Wanted to introduce my grandson to it but needed a tent. After some research I landed on the Alps Mountaineering Lynx 4 and am very pleased. It's ease of set up, construction quality, dimensions and ease of getting in and out were satisfactory. We didn't experience rain on our trip so I can't speak to that. For the money I'm happy! My grandson had a blast on his first trip. By the way, I bought a 4 person tent because my grandson has two siblings already asking to go!
You can actually fit four people in this tent! Well made. Rain fly has optional openings for ventilation on top. Easy to set up and take down.
Great tent. I have been using it for 10-plus years. I waterproof-sprayed it a few years ago. It stayed completely dry in a big rainstorm this weekend. Good air circulation. It fits a queen air-mattress with a little bit of space to spare. It feels roomy with a twin.
