Love the coat - not the discolouration after washing
Love everything about the coat with the exception of the pocket zippers they stick and this makes them hard to use. I washed the coat as per the directions and there is now what looks like "oil stains" in one localized area causing a darkness so I am now arranging a return and hoping this is a one issue and the replacement will be fine.
Would definitely buy this again!

Even with the frigid temperatures in Chicago I don't need many layers to feel warm. I can go for walks of simply run errands in my new favorite jacket! I love the warm fleece around my sleeves and the hood. It's the best jacket I've ever bought. Not to mention it's in my favorite color!

Fits too big, sleeves are long
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very cute parka and I love the style. It seems like it will be very warm for freezing temps. I was really looking forward to having it fit me when it arrived. I measured myself (twice) then looked at the size chart to make sure I'm getting the right size. According to the chart I would be a size large because of my chest size. Unfortunately I was swimming in it, the sleeves are too long, loose all over and the waste line sat lower on my torso. I'm 5'3" chest 40" waist 31" and 133 pounds for reference. Sadly will have to return and they are out of medium.
I want to love this coat
This coat sheds an Embarrassing amount of feathers! I've been told it happens but I did not realize to this degree. I cant take it into work because the debris gets on all my coworkers things. Other than that its great, I guess. I just have no idea how to get past this, it annoyingly inconvenient to have to vacuum feathers so much. There are no holes and most the time they are not even coming out of the seems.
Very lightweight yet very warm!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered this in a size XXL because I have large arms. The coat fits like a glove but doesn't hug too tightly. It comes down to about an in or two above my knee, keeping me warm throughout the day. Despite the pandemic, I'm still very active outside for work and travel to see clients, and it has kept me warm day in and day out. I'm contemplating ordering in a different color!
Disappointing
I absolutely love the look, fit and feel of this jacket. I am, however, so disappointed that the down is constantly escaping through the fabric to the point that little feathers are always floating around me and my vehicle's dash and console are always covered (I've had to leave a swiffer cloth in my vehicle to clean up the mess). So sad as I love my other North Face items.

I love this coat - I am always warm in it, the length is perfect and it isn't too bulky since I am often maneuvering with my children. I look forward to purchasing more coats from NorthFace in the future.
Nice Print - had to return it.
I loved the print of this jacket. it looks black and white on the website but it has some colour sprinkled through the pattern. Very Pretty. I thought this jacket was nice, nothing super special, the hood doesn't unzip, there is not collar on the sleeve to stop snow/wind going up your arm. Overall, I could not keep the jacket. It was so light that it didn't give me confidence that it would really keep me warm in temperatures colder than -20 (celcius) and in Ottawa, you've got to be ready for -40/45 temperatures. Ultimately, the return experience was positive because it was quick but I have a real problem when the NORTH FACE CREW will not pay for return shipping! It cost me $14.00 to send the jacket back, that is absolutely insane and unacceptable for a company as large as this one. I still love the North Face and bought a more expensive jacket - because I love your stuff - but I cannot give this jacket more than 2 stars because I had to pay for my return.
Want to love
I want to love this coat but the fabric stains/scratches so easily. I have the taupe color and after only wearing it barely two months, I have a long scratch in the fabric and a dark stain from water!! The zipper also doesn't like to zip easily some days. Would recommend because I love the fit and style but not the taupe color.
