I’m 6’1”, simi claustrophobic and hates being cold. On a resent hike to Paradise Valley in Kings Canyon I encountered nightly lows in mid 30’s, I had purchased the long version after much comparing and research. The North Face Dolomite 20 sleeping bag allows you to zip it all the way up and pull it over your head if needed to. Plenty of room to stretch, roomy enough to turn inside the sleeping bag, I actually experienced being way to warm on several occasions. The only drawbacks I found was the weight (5 lbs 6 oz) and the pack down size (as big as a big Bear Canister)
Did the job and kept me warm through the entire night. Zipper likes to catch
Junk. Zipper construction is about what you would find on a $25 sleeping bag. Zipper pull broke after 3rd use. Zipper completely unusable after 5th use. Very disappointed in the quality and construction of this sleeping bag. And we are out of warranty/return policy. Spend your money on another brand.
Love it, I only wish they sold an easy mesh bag to stuff it in when space isn’t an issue like marmot does. Ive returned multiple bags in the last year because I’m freezing at night. I have to use a rectangular bag versus a mummy due to a neck issue so even sleeping with my head out of the bag on my specialty pillow I stayed warm. Spacious. The cell phone holder concept is a nice idea but they should have made it a zip pocket as the phone just falls out when you zip up. I’m keeping it.
Bought it for my wife and she loved it so much!! The only thing she can't deal with Bay area is the WEATHER. (she literally says the word "COLD" every 30 mins) So when we decided to go to camping for the first time, she wanted to take our bedroom to a camping site... anyway, found this sleeping bag and convinced her it would keep her warm and comfy and guess what? She's looking for another camping site already!! Awesome product and good quality as you all know by the brand name.
We are new to tent camping and i did a lot of research before buying this product. It came up as the best on several websites. What i love about it is that it zips so far down and i was able to use it more like a comforter (temperatures were very mild and i would have had a heat stroke in those cone shaped ones). It was very comfy to lie on and clean up nicely after the trip. Only downside is the size when it's packed up. It's on the bigger side.
Great sleeping bag! Very light and portable for easy travel, but still warm enough for very cold nights. I bought this right before a week long trip and it held up perfectly woth no complications. Great product.
Perfect sleeping bag. Its a little bigger than i would have expected but it wasn't really a concern for me. Its warm and really comfortable. Used it on a long weekend trip and loved it.
I use the sleeping bag for backpacking and its a little bigger than I would like when packed, but that was easily solved by just using a compression bag. Other than that, it's perfect!
I've been using it for the last week and it's been great! Kept me warm and dry during my time camping at big Sur.
