The North Face  Wawona Bed Double Sleeping Bag

I haven’t used it yet but it pretty big when laid out but packs up nicely and takes up less space than some other double bags I’ve owned. The reason I gave it 3 stars is because it is advertised as having YKK zippers but it doesn’t and this was one of the selling points for me. It’s not REIs fault, it’s listed the same on the north face site.

Car camping tent. Comfortable & light. First use in the Keewenaw Peninsula. Very warm weather, fine for that. Can't say how it will do in cooler weather. Will try it out in the Fall.

North Face quality as always. Lite weight and sized perfect for 2. Only flaw is top half is super nice soft fleece and bottom inside is regular soft but plasticity feel. I wish it was fleece all the way through.

First time trying a double sleeping bag so I wasn't really sure what to look for. I liked that this one has the square toe and I thought the fleece lining would be nice. Turns out it only goes down about a foot and then you're back into regular plasticky sleeping bag material. With the lack of hood and overall insulation, husband was cold camping on a mild spring night so we will be returning for a hooded version.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm so happy I got this sleeping bag! My partner and I are pretty casual campers - we do both tent camping & car camping, nothing too crazy. He had some gear already, but I needed to get a sleeping bag. I thought it could be nice to have a double for car camping, and this was a perfect choice! We've spent a few chilly nights in this (around 40 degrees) and stayed fairly comfortable, although I don't know how well it would do if it were any colder. I also love that you can unzip the top half from the bottom and convert this into 2 separate, single sized sleeping bags with a cinch at the top. It's also been pretty easy to clean, it dries out very quickly, and I can easily shove it in to the stuff sack on my own. Love it!

Warm, comfortable and plenty of room

Comfortable in 20 to 30 degrees ish temps inside my van. Material is soft and skin friendly.
