Comfortable and sturdy
Took this to the Grand Canyon area and it worked great, love the straps so no damaging trees, held me (150 #) and my dog (50#) with no problem! I lined it with my sleeping bag, grabbed a pillow and my pooch and spent many hours enjoying. An observation- I am 5'3" and with my feet down at the "footrest" I did not have the best view for the sides are higher the lower you go. I just piled a blanket at the bottom to give me more height but I'd buy a "short" version if ever made - that's how much I like this hammock.
Perfect Chill out hammock
Perfect chill out hammock, certainly not a sleeping/camping hammock but great for relaxing. Brought two of these down for a surf trip down to Rincon Puerto Rico, hung them on some palm tress right by the beach and everyone we saw was very jealous. My head stayed nicely above the outer lines of the hammock while in full relax mode and did not get shut out from the views of the beach or being part of conversations. Cup holder actually works out too, even when swinging nothing jumped out or spilled. It was about 85-90 degrees and this thing was incredibly breathable, never once was uncomfortable or too hot. After coming out of the water straight into the hammock there were no pools of water, it just dripped right through. A few times we had two people in each hammock, not even an issue, they held up great. Was even able to pack one of these into my carry on, they were a bit bulky and the spreader bars were a bit tough to get in but well worth it. I ended up taking it out of the original stuff sack and folding it to about the size of a heavy pair of jeans. The set up is a bit tricky at first with the included straps, I ended up watching the video on here to figure out how to properly use them and it is super easy. The straps were very convenient to adjust height on the fly without taking the whole thing down and its nice that they are included. Overall highly recommended!
