Imported.

Many sleeping bags are rated for temperature by an independent testing protocol, the European Norm (EN) 13537. Each bag gets two ratings: a Comfort rating and Lower limit rating. The Comfort rating is the lowest temperature at which the bag will keep the average woman (or "cold sleeper") comfortable, and the Lower Limit rating is the lowest temperature at which the bag will keep an average man (or “warm sleeper”) comfortable. Everyone's body and sleep comfort is different, so EN Ratings are merely a guideline to help you compare products.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Like a dream I love this sleeping bag. The spoon shape and comforter-like baffling makes it just as cozy as my bed. I have never been cold in this bag (I also have a wonderful sleeping pad, and have not tested it without that).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Toasty warm So far I've used this bag 3 times on chilly nights in the mountains of the pacific northwest (but definitely not in the teens! Probably in the 30's). I was very warm and on 2 of the nights I had to take clothes and socks off. Opening up the gills didn't do enough venting for me! I think this will be a great bag for spring and fall when temps are really low, and I'll probably stick with my 30 degree Nemo bag on summer nights. It compresses well into a 16-liter compression stuff sack.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is the best!! I have always struggled with getting good sleep on backpacking trips...boy did this bag solve my problem. It is super comfortable, allows for ventilation so you don't over heat but stay comfortable and has a built in pillow. I feel like I am sleeping with a comforter rather than in a bag. This is a great bag for side sleepers..you don't feel tied up in the bag and can easily turn without getting binded. Expensive bag but so worth it.

Why does this bag have a compressed size of 8.8/9.3 L with 800 fill down when the Rave 15 has nearly the same compressed size of 8.8/9.2 L with only 650 down. The Nemo website lists the same specifications, but that makes no sense.

Asked by: delphia
We encourage you to contact NEMO directly to inquire about the compressed size of each bag.
