Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best run shoe ever! Absolutely perfect! Have run in Conquests for the last four years even though I have high arches, narrow feet and do not pronate, I liked the responsivness after finding the Stinsons too "mushy". I have bony feet and even though I am a short, light weight runner and I only run 3-4 miles five or six days a week I love cushioning of the Bondi 5! Did not notice the tongue rubbing at all but It's winter in Anchorage so I'm wearing thicker socks right now. I use these with my Superfeet Berry insoles for my high arches. I also use Icespikes with my Hokas so I'm like spidergirl all winter. The new sleeker look of these is welcome also since I do think I run faster if I look cool lol.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shoe for senior runners! I am a 68 y/o female and am only able to continue running 3 miles daily because of these shoes. Other shoes create too much musculoskeletal trauma. My son who is an internationally known and Hoka sponsored endurance and extreme runner, introduced my husband (72) and me to these shoes. We have recommended them to many senior friends who have purchased them and never looked back. I recommend that you target more of your advertising toward senior runners (50+) otherwise you are missing a huge opportunity for growth.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Like walking on clouds I just got a pair of black Bondi 5s after having worn thru my previous Bondis. Immediately I could tell they are a bit wider. They fit, but only with the laces tied fairly tight. I held them up to the old ones and they seem to be the same length, but they feel roomier all around. My feet have been hurting quite a bit, and when I put them on I felt like I was walking on clouds. I have hallux rigidus, and they are the perfect shoe that puts zero pressure on the big toe. I have hardly taken them off for three days now. I haven't tried running yet, but I walked a few miles yesterday and couldn't have been happier. All that said, they are UGLY! I got the black, and they just look huge and thick. Oh well, that's the price for comfort.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Long Time Bondi Wearer Review I've used Bondi as my main running shoe since version 1 and they have changed a lot, some good and some not so good. I've had version 1, 3 and now 5 - 3 was much improved over 1 - the tongue cushioning was added, regular shoe laces were included, the sizing improved, but the overall feel stayed the same. The 5 feels more solid and not a squishy as the older versions, and the width is tight. My toes went numb on my first run so I loosed the laces and it's better but still snug. Overall, these are great shoes for distance running, especially if you have any knee or hip problems.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent customer service! These shoes get complements all the time. I have the blue/blue Biondi. I love the cushioning. I work long hours on my feet and have for over 30 years so I am very particular about my shoes. I also run. Hoka has great customer service as well. I am happy with these shoes but they do not breath as well as my old Cliftons did. My feet get hot in the Biondi. Otherwise they are great. I do not think they are too wide and I have narrow-ish feet. The bottom of the shoes is quite wide but the upper is normal-width. They are sturdy and supportive and cushioned.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Most comfortable shoes for my arthritic feet!! I have had rheumatoid arthritis since 1989 and my feet structures have collapsed with severe probation leaving me with a long wedge of bone Running lengthwise from mid foot to outer edge of my feet which is painful. I recently bought Bondii-5 and almost cried because they are so comfortable. Ialsob thank you for having it in all black because I cannot wear dress shoes which limits me to slacks and tennis shoes...and was frustrating with the scant choices of all black tennis shoes instead of neon bright colors that fit me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Most comfortable shoes I had ankle injury over a year ago. I've been having problems walking due to the pain. I have bought many different shoes and inserts but never found really comfortable ones. My PT suggested me to try Hoka, I had to wait for a few months for the WIde width of Bondi to be on the market. Finally I bought the Bondi 5 in Wide. They are so comfortable and cushioned. Now I can walk normally without limping. Thank you Hoka. Please keep the good quality and keep making Wide width shoes with more colors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Believe the hype-amazing shoe!! This shoe is spectacular. Ordered in 7.5 wide. Comfortable right out of the box. No break-in required. Purchased to start some light training walk/jog after knee surgery. Don't need my orthotics because this shoe provides customization in support due to the memory foam. Can't wait to start using them. Unlike most other athletic shoes these seem to run true to size. I've always had to order a half size up in sport shoes, ordering a 7.5 instead of a 7, but I may have to try a 7 in these. The wide width is a true wide width. FINALLY, someone besides New Balance is making true wides. New Balance wides are too wide in the heels and Asics (my most recent brand) wide women's shoes aren't really that wide. Hoka One One-my new favorite and I'll be telling everyone!

When you say Wide, what do you mean? I've been told I'm between D & E and don't know how this matches up...?

Asked by: Jackie O
These shoes have a D width in the wide size.
