Rated 5 out of 5 by from The All Mountain Gem! This will be my third year skiing on the SOS and I love them! The performance in all types of terrain and conditions is unbeatable. I found this ski, and company for that matter, when the current small ski company I was using recommended a men's ski when I expressed concern that their women's product was not stiff enough. The SOS is a stiff and aggressive ski and I am so thrilled to find a ski design that fits my ski style and ability. The SOS charges through everything and even can float you through deep powder. Mine have been from Greenland to Chile and all over the US. Love 'em

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best This review is for a the 2015/2016 season SOS skis. I used them throughout the great snow year we had in Tahoe and they were responsive and strong on the powder days and on the Sierra cement days. I definitely felt like I could take them anywhere and make them do what I wanted them to do. Not too soft, not too hard, just perfect. (Only caveat is that I like the Bliss skis for days that are primarily groomer days.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Womans Ski Hands Down Let me start out by saying I have always skied mens skis because I could never find any that lived up to what women's skis should be. The first day on these skis I was in love. I would highly recommend these for the fresh powder days all the way to the days that feel like you are skiing on ice. They transition so smoothy with still so much power behind them. 10/10 would recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very versatile, very fun! Skis all conditions (literally: groomed, powder, ice, slop, a touch of mud) and speeds (skis small local hills to big mountains). Solid but responsive, as aggressive (a 101 underfoot that can turn on a dime) or as playful as you want it - perfect ladies all mountain. Fills the void that nothing else in my quiver could quite fill.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sweet Salvation! 2015/2016 model. Sweet Salvation 173 cm (129-105-119, rocker-camber-rocker, mounted with Griffon demos on the mark) - All mountain ski: This is one stiff ski, and I love them!! The tip and tail rocker makes them super maneuverable in the later afternoon powder piles while the camber underfoot keeps them glued to the scratchy groomed ice underneath. Totally confidence inspiring for me, even when skiing cautiously while nursing a sprained knee. They allowed me to attack the piles of crud from the very first run! I could see the ridgy ripples and bumps under the new snow but the SOS just gobbled them up and I didn't feel them at all. Like the Bliss, the on-the-line mount puts the bindings WAY forward of anything else we have, and I did have the tails hang up a few times, so I played with the binding position and found I like them better mounted behind the mark. I'd suggest anyone purchasing these to mount AT LEAST 1-2 cms back. Those living on the ice coast may also want to have the side edge bevels reset to 3 degrees to give them the ice bite they're capable of.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these skis Great skis if you are ready to step it up or are already confident with your skills and want something that you can shred on. Lightweight but strong and sturdy, great edges. Bonus points for the company's ethics and focus on girl power. Buy these if you want to support women in the snow sports industry and also want a great pair of skis.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Skis that rock I've had my SOS skis for two seasons and love them. Can't imagine skiing on anything else. I've gained more confidence and tried new terrain with these skis and they did not disappoint!

what level of ability are these skills best for? I'm an intermediate/advanced. are these made for expert level skiers?

Asked by: sallyann76
You'll be fine on these skis! I've had several int/advanced skiers on mine, and their skiing all changed for the better in soft snow. Your first runs on easy terrain will not be fun unless you're used to this waist width, so buy longer than you'd think, and head for steeper terrain than usual until you get used to them. Seriously. Enjoy!

Any ladies out there have an idea of how these compare to Volkl Kenjas?

Asked by: KatJ
These are very similar to the Volkl Kenjas in that they have tip and tail rocker, handle great on groomed terrain, and have good control on tight turns. The Coalition also have handling great on powder because of their larger waist width.
