at 100 lumens, and lightweight, this is perfect for trail running and OCR. I used this in my most recent spartan race and it got very wet and muddy and no issues. Lights the trail well without bulk. One of the better price points for a waterproof light.
I carry this as a spare in my jeep compacked size is great and it's bright really bright lights up everything I need to see would recommend it to anyone
I like the small size, weight and especially the strap which utilizes a single cord-like lock for the strap. The single switch button is supposed to be locking but I have been unsuccessful at engaging the lock setting.
I bought this to keep in my day-pack in case I end up on the trail after dark. It barely weighs 2 ozs with batteries installed. I tested it in a completely dark room and the light seems perfectly adequate. The button to change light intensity and color is a little fiddly, and like all current gadgets requires you to learn its version of Morse code (press and hold, press 3 times, press once...) to operate. I think this will work just fine in an emergency and for short time use.
I bought this for my daughter (6.5 years old) to use in her evening adventure running club. So far, it's doing fantastically for low light conditions and a sweaty forehead. We've used it a couple of times ourselves, and switching head sizes from child to adult is very easy. The orange is a great color, a bit more fun than the black. 100 lumens is more than enough, even for deep woods trail running. Would highly recommend.
I already have three of the original Icon headlamps. We mainly use two of them as the best reading lights. This new one is still very light with more lumens and a better switch for gloved hands. Love the orange.
Great purchase for work where I am constantly in crawl spaces. This is lightweight and small so it fits easily in my cargo pants pocket until I need it. Very simple to use and bright enough for me to do whatever needs to be done for work. I'm a climber and camper as well, and this would be a great light hiking to the rock, farting around a campsite, or looking for the next rap station after waiting until sunset to descend.
Comfortable and bright. Just what I was looking for in a headlamp. Essential for camping trips.
Bought this a week ago and haven't had to use it on a overnight trip yet. I wanted lightweight, few frills, small and easy to use. Seems to work per the directions. Can't get the white strobe light to work but it is probably the operator. Take a bit to figure out taps, hold seconds etc to get different lights
I bought the Ion headlamp for camping and walking the dog at night. There are so many light options, it's great! You can have a max light or a really low light to not wake someone else up, and you can do the same with the red light. For $25...it was a no brainer pick up.
