Black Diamond  Storm+ Headlamp

This Black Diamond Storm+ Headlamp is practical, lightweight and powerful. I actually tested it during the basement renovation we have going on, as well as the outdoors to check out the range of visibility and how well it illuminates our evening walks. The lamp is small and lightweight, sits comfortably on your forehead freeing your hands to get busy where it matters. The dual lamps function independently and can be adjusted to the intensity and field coverage needed and the right side can be dimmed to the amount of light needed. The buttons are easy to operate even with gloves on during a project. Using a simple one, two or three second holds to control different modes including the RGB feature. It is also a storm lamp. Since coastal storms near the beach are no joke, it's nice to have this lamp handy. The battery life is excellent after using it in the basement for about 4 hours then walking for about 1 daily I think I charged it until the fifth day. The range is great and the compact design makes it easy to carry. Honestly this is one of the best, most comfortable, and powerful headlamps I've had the pleasure to use, and I most definitely recommend it.   I received this product from influenster for review purposes.

I’ve found this headlamp to be surprisingly useful for home improvement projects, especially when visibility is not great. I love being able to use the different modes depending on what I am doing, and it keeps both hands free to work. I’ve also brought it camping and for outdoor adventures, where the beam has been really helpful.

The name screams Quality and the product does not disappoint! This headlamp is the best I have ever seen. This headlamp lights up a whole room! I used it to read numbers under My car hood! Incredible!!

The band on this light is extremely comfortable and the entire thing overall is built really well. It has multiple light modes and a very bright beam.

Very powerful headlamp with good battery life and lots of light options. I used it for a section of a 100k race and it did it's job well to illuminate the dark grassy/wooded trail at night. However, the lamp itself is quite heavy, so was constantly slipping off my forehead, and I had to readjust it often, which was really annoying and distracting. Perhaps would be better for just hiking or camping, but for something with a higher impact, it does not stay put. I ended up switching to my much lighter weight biolite headlamp for the last hours of the race.

This headlamp is great, very powerful. The tap tech is a bit odd, and difficult to work always.

This light is nice . . . . but I think maybe trying too hard to be 'all things to all people. ' It's rechargeable AND lasts a long time — and who doesn't want that, right? Thing is, it accomplishes it by having a big, heavy battery. So you have this heavy thing on your forehead and don't get nearly as much brightness as you'd hope for. Personally I'd rather just use old-school batteries, which would give me much longer battery life for less size/weight. Maybe that's just me. But where this guy just fails is that it can't point at your hands! If you want to shine the light on your hands you have to put your chin on your chest and look out the top of your eye sockets. It's terrible! All they have to do is increase the angle on the pivot socket. Ugghhhh. This is why you never buy the first model year of something. Please - Black Diamond - take this thing away from me and send me next year's model!
