Excellent light, open the battery case before use

Much like previous reviewers when I opened the box and read the manual (I always read the manual), I tried to charge the lamp overnight and I got no charge. I thought it might be the charging cord so I brought it to work because I have some reliable cords there. When it still wasn’t charging there I decided to check that it worked with AAA batteries. I opened the case and saw the “remove before use” plastics tab in the case, after removing it it worked perfectly. After taking it on a night run, it is great. Lots of light for the road and the blinking rear lights work perfectly.

What a nice light! I really like the option of using the included rechargeable battery but also be able to use standard AAA size batteries if it runs out of juice with no way of charging it. Great for extended adventures and backpacking. Nice light output and very lightweight on the forehead. Definitely a modern headlamp. This is one that I wished I had years ago.
