Are these crampon compatible? With strap on crampons?

Asked by: drezac
We do not recommend using mountaineering crampons with these boots. The shank is not stiff enough to accommodate the crampons.

I see Merrill has this boot in women's, but I didn't see it in your on-line store? Just wondering do these boots have as much stability as the Women's OBOZ Sawtooth Mid BDRY boot?

Asked by: Katesmom
These boots offer more stability than the Oboz Sawtooth Mid BDry Hiking Boots due to the height of the boot being slightly taller.

Do these come in widths?  Why is it that some Merrell shoes come in wide and others do not?  Do they think people's feet vary in length but not in width?

Asked by: rry1
As of May 2017, these shoes are not offered in a wide. All available sizes are on our website. We do not have information available as to why only select shoes are offered in wide; we encourage you to contact the vendor directly for further clarification.

These boots are a fine choice for handling varying terrain.
