Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good fit, needs more insulation Purchased this today before going out for a ride, I'm fairly big and the XL fit well. Temp was about 40F and it was a bit chilly with a light shirt underneath. It did cut the wind but not as much as I would have hoped. If using this in weather under 40 degrees don't forget some thermals underneath.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good biking jacket I commute to and from work via bicycle 10 miles each way. This jacket is a big improvement from the windbreaker I've been using previously. I've used it comfortably into the mid 30's (F) with a long sleeve cotton shirt underneath. I'm 5'11", 190# and the large fits well and doesn't catch the win.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I wear this jacket 6 months/ year I own an earlier version of this jacket. I have used the snot out of it. 40 degrees with a t shirt, 20 degrees with other layers, 3-4 rides a week from fall to spring. I did a century in 60 degrees and rain in this jacket and was fine. Combination of breathability and waterproof front is spot on. Will buy another if this one ever dies.

What temperature range is this best for. I am looking for something I can still use in warmer weather.

Asked by: Joke128
We do not provide temperature ratings on clothing because warmth depends on so many different variables including activity level, metabolism, perspiration as well as the other clothing layers you are wearing.

How does this jacket fair in wet weather?  I had a similarly designed Castilli that got waterlogged during a rain shower. Serious hyperthermia.

Asked by: jake31
This jacket is water repellant, making it resistant to rain but not waterproof. We suggest a shell to go over this if you're going out in very rainy weather.
