While this jacket is excellent for wind protection and insulation in cold weather, it fails to live up to its water-repellent marketing claims. After testing it through two rainstorms, the fabric absorbed moisture rather than shedding it. Additionally, while the fit runs slightly large, I found that manageable; however, potential buyers should be aware that this is strictly a dry-weather garment.
