Great Ventilation and Visibility... but
I have used this poncho on one multi-day tour and one 300k Brevet in cold to warm New England Spring weather. The hood, once on, fits well and stays put on fast windy descents. Ventilation from the sides and legs is great. It would be hard for a motorist to claim they couldn't see you, day or night. Disappointments include unanticipated difficulty getting on and off. Constant noise from rubbing of poncho on legs (and fear those areas will wear fast). I have to remove my helmet to put the poncho on. The hood fits well once I have the poncho on, but I have not been able to get the poncho over my helmet while on my head. I have 2 helmets and it is true for both. I couldn't operate the small snap buttons when wearing gloves, so that was a real challenge on cold rides. (magnets?)
