Rated 2 out of 5 by from Loved the features, but had to return because of size I bought this pack to commute to work. The extra features like the splash guard are an amazing idea and the pack itself is very comfortable. The U-Lock pocket on the outside was great. However, the pack is far too small. You lose some space too with the roll top, although I like the idea. I wish it could've zipped at the top if you wanted more space. Most days this probably would've been enough to carry what I needed to get to work, but sometimes it was a tight fit and I'd have to leave some things at home. If you stuff the pack full it makes it difficult to get things out of the front pocket. It was a little pricey for the size. I would've kept it in a heartbeat if it had been 30 L, but I ended up exchanging it for a larger pack.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointing Bicycle Pack I bought this backpack to replace a Timbuk2 pack that finally wore out after more than 10 years of daily use. The only thing I really like about it is the fact that the main compartment is designed to be waterproof. Unfortunately this pack is missing some critical features that I often used in my old pack. I does not have any way to secure a key ring and there is no inner zippered pocket to secure things like loose change. It has strong magnets in weird places. I'm sure you are aware that strong magnets can cause problems with electronics especially smart phones. The magnetic closure in the rear flap is not strong enough. I loaded up the pack then turned it upside down -- everything under the rear flap fell onto the floor. This means that if you fall off your bicycle or even make a very sudden stop your possessions in the rear compartment will be spilled all over the road. Another problem with the magnetic closure on the rear compartment is security. If you take your pack onto crowded public transit while pushing a bicycle do not be surprised if things disappear from the rear compartment -- I really see it as a "magnet" for thieves. There is a rear pocket which is perfect a medium sized tablet or a Kindle. Unfortunately it is not padded, so the device could be easily damaged by a rock thrown up by the rear wheel. The buckles that secure the main compartment are metal presumably for looks. I would prefer plastic. They are fiddly -- they often do not catch on the first try.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful, Functional, Professional I bought the Lux bag when I started a new job that requires a lot of global travel. I needed a bag that was professional-looking, but also highly functional and adaptable. This bag excels in those areas. I just returned from my first work trip to Myanmar that was followed by a few days of personal travel in central Myanmar. The Lux held up for my numerous flights, work events, and travels days in the less developed sections of Myanmar. Highly recommend! I'm a bike commuter as well, and this bag works great for that purpose!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Silver Fox Love the silver Lux Waterproof Backpack. I bought to commute to grad school and it doesn't fit all of my books at once but I can fit enough for my day to day. Great color and very visible/reflective to cars. The rain hood at the top of the bag is a creative and practical addition. Love all the little pockets in the front pocket. The only thing that could make this bag better would be some loops to hang extra stuff on with a carabiner like I have on my backpacking and outdoor packs. I call this bag my tinfoil alien bag as a joke but it really is sleek and pretty.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice & sleek design! Love it! Bring it for work & holiday. If the interior compartment is able to be slightly bigger it would be better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Even better than expected I just received this as a gift a couple days ago and I love it already. I have not had the change to ride with it yet, but I will hopefully do that next week, weather permitting. I love the added hood that has its own concealed pocket as well as the lower flap to stop rainwater from hitting you. The partially magnetic roll down top is great as well as the pockets in the front. There is a place for everything in this bag. I can easily fit an extra pair of shoes, a jacket, my lunch, etc. in this bag. It is not too large either as I am 5'4". Great bag, I love it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from dark vortex of beauty I love this bag, the quality is amazing, the color is great and the reflective trim is perfect for my dark rainy commute in Seattle. the only issue with this bag is how deep it is, which is to be somewhat expected with this type of bag. if the lining were a bright color it would be easier to see what is inside it. That said, for travel it may not be the best choice, but for going to/from work it is perfect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this pack! I bought this pack for cycling to and from work. It holds my work uniform, waterproof gear, and books. It is hands down, the best looking waterproof pack I've seen. A friend bought one just like mine when he saw it, and I've had many compliments on it. I love that it's simple and one of my favorite design features is the pocket on the front with the magnetic closure. It has lots of little interior pockets and is super easy to get into. Love, love, love this pack. I wouldn't mind having a second one just for convenience!

Is there a spot for a hydration bladder?

Asked by: CatLuni
The Lux Waterproof Backpack does not have a dedicated hydration pocket. There is a pocket on the rear for a laptop, however, there is no port for a hydration hose to pass through.
