BAD!!!

1 I’m 6’1. 230lb. This bag is too skinny. The straps jam into my back where the attach to the bottom. The huge flat doesn’t do anything. Waterproof? Nope because the bag opens wider than the flap. If you ware it in the rain, it WILL fill with water. The main compartment is a plastic lined sack. Nothing inside, just a rubber bag. The 2 front pockets, what are they even for? NOTHING fits in them. They are too tiny for a phone, you can’t put a pin in it and close the flap! The laptop sleeve is on the front so as you walk there a huge weight swimming off the front of the bag. The only padding is in the straps and that is scant. Next you have what I can only describe as pencil case as it is the width of the bag. About 3 inches tall and no depth as it is flat against the bag. There is a “hidden” wallet compartment a red drawstring hanging off of it so you can see. What ever goes in there that shape presses into your back. The large buckle that secures the flap has its extension strap that hangs off really really far. The water bottle pockets are large, but also have an expandable strap with way way way too much expandability so they have given you Velcro straps to ball up the extensions and they just hang there and the Velcro grinds into your arms. This is very expensive and useless, and if you take it out of the packaging, you can’t return it. Hit me up if you want one. I’ll sell you mine, CHEAP!!

Wanted to love it

Wanted to love it but it’s a flop. I have had several variations of the Warsaw over the years. The Warsaw medium bag was great but it lacked organization and was on the short and wide size. This update seemed like it was going to solve all the issues I had with the Warsaw Medium. Good things first, I love the color options and the strap management on this bag is fantastic. I hope they make the strap keepers available for purchase. The outer material is the same as the Warsaw md, but the tarp liner feels super flimsy and much thinner than the standard liner and it is sewn all the way into the bag so no more velcro option to separate wet and dry goods. Over all the bag feels cheaper. The straps and back panel are also pretty sad and considering this bag can handle 30L I am shocked the back padding and airflow are so small and flat. The straps are thinner and lack the metal rings, I do like the daisy chain system on the new 30L straps in lieu of the d rings. They have gone away from using metal on the bag at all, they even got rid of the metal logo emblem. Chrome has always been a go to bag for me and I am really disappointed at the direction the quality has been going the last few years. No metal on the bag is fine but the biggest issue I have with this bag is poorly designed pockets, they are a head scratcher. I should have paid more attention to the photos as it shows the flaps cannot close with a pen and a field notes pad. I have a smaller iPhone and it doesn’t even fit in the pockets. I could list all of the things that don’t fit in the pockets but we would be here for a long time. The bottom pocket holds a slim pencil pouch and that is it. The “computer” pocket is just a large pocket with no padding. The outside zippers on the other warsaws had the waterproof tpu welding tape to keep water out and the outsize zippers on the 30L have no waterproofing. Size of the bag is nice but underwhelmed with the quality and lack of thoughtful design decisions

Great utility for work or riding on the street

Got the reflective panel and love that I can wear this bag at night while I’m commuting on my bike. The size at 30L is more than enough for carrying a ton of stuff. I like the minimal organization, there’s still a side pocket that’s kinda hidden, one at the bottom, and two water bottle pockets on each side. Comfy to wear and it’s a stylish pack too. I go to school so it’s nice that I can throw my iPad in the sleeve pocket and just hold my laptop in the main compartment. I’ve been wearing it in the rain recently and all my stuff was safe for the most part. It’s not like I’ll be riding in a crazy down pour but it’s sufficient for a rainy commute. Overall recommend if you’re looking for a great pack that meets style and utility.

Ok, could be great

I purchased this bag for the large compartment and the flap top. Used for work, its well made but some of the other pockets could have been designed better. The two magnetic flip pockets are really too small to even fit a cell phone. And the zip pocket underneath is too small for anything. They should have made one larger magnetic flip pocket with smaller phone holder inside of that. Also a missed opportunity to put storage on the top flap that latches. Also some of the straps on the side bottle pockets are kinda hard to roll back into the velcro thats supposed to hold them. They need to go back the drawing board on this one. Wish I had looked further before purchasing, especially qt this price point. But this could be a great bag if redesigned.

Good for play, not for work

I bought the Warsaw 2.0 for light courier work about three years ago to which I have absolutely thrashed, and it's still come out smelling like roses. The only thing is it's really too unwieldy for casual day to day. I missed the boat on the Warsaw MD, but the Warsaw 30 seemed like a good size for day-to-day use. The bag is super light. Chrome has moved from using metal fasteners to plastic, and the liner feels like a lighter material. It definitely feels good on the shoulders, but I wouldn't expect it to hold up to real courier abuse.

Great upgrade from the Warsaw MD with just a couple fewer pockets

I had the Warsaw MD before this, and having 2 water bottle pockets on the exterior is really a game changer. I also like that there's no velcro anymore for the pockets - just zippers and magnetic closures. I do miss the extra pockets that the MD had, but honestly I didn't use the pocket on the bottom all that much anyway. The bag is a lot lighter and the velcro loops to hold the extra bits of straps is a really, really nice feature so there's not just loose straps hanging all over. Really nice overall, happy I made the upgrade!

Almost very good, but the front pocket design could be improved

After choosing and buying the Warsaw 30L in Japan during a recent trip and using it for the next 7 days or so, I find myself wishing that it was a bit bigger, maybe around 35 liters? I bought it to replace an old, more conventional, and slightly bigger (33L) backpack from another brand. I didn't think that the 3L drop would matter that much, especially since the large bucket-style main compartment should, in theory, waste less of the effective space than having a bunch of little compartments and dividers everywhere. But in practice, the stiffness of the materials compared to the standard backpack means that there is very little flex in the main compartment, and stuffing some bulkier clothing and other items into it filled it up very quickly and made it difficult to utilize the full space between the gaps.Additionally, due to the dimensions of the pack, I found the sizes of the front pockets to be a bit awkward. I often found myself wishing that the two magnetic flap pockets were just a bit taller and wider, as there were several small-ish items throughout my trip that I wasn't able to comfortably fit inside them. The wide pocket at the very bottom of the front panel in particular is a very weird and awkward size. I honestly didn't even know that it existed until after I bought the bag and brought it back to my hotel. Looking at the website again, I see that I probably didn't notice it because the product photos don't even show that pocket being used, which I think is very telling of how awkward it is to use. The only use I could find for it (other than throwing a couple of pens in there or something) was stuffing one of those travel sized packs of wet wipes into it. Even then, the wet wipes took up about half the width of the pocket and pulled it tight due to the thinness of that compartment, making the rest of the space useless. Honestly, I think I would have just preferred that bottom strip pocket being removed in favor of making the two magnetic flap pockets longer and deeper for fitting slightly bigger items.Overall, while I really like the look and general functional elements of the pack, I cannot help but feel that the dimensions make the design feel like it was scaled down from a more useful size (presumably from an upcoming updated version of the huge 55L variant) without much regard for how that would affect the utility of the front pockets. I think that a slight increase in the overall size as well as a redesign of the front pockets would significantly improve this pack.

Love the bag. Very comfortable.

Arguably the most comfortable bag I've ever bought. High quality and a good amount of room inside. Some things I wish that could be better.....More pockets would be nice. And making the ones that already exist bigger. Theyre all pretty small and can't hold muchHappy with the purchase

Not bad, but I wouldn't pay full price.

This was a warranty, and frankly, that's why the rating is as high as it is. Apparently no longer made in the U.S. (at least, there's no tag announcing as much anymore), and extremely small with some very questionably designed pockets. Most of them are useless because they are so small or narrow. The main compartment itself is pretty shallow, and a lot of space is taken up by the lining. Overall, the construction feels a lot cheaper than the fifteen-year-old bag this replaced. I very much doubt this one will last that long. Also, the promotional pictures are very misleading. This bag is small, especially if you have a big frame (as I do, at 6' and over 200 lbs). It works for my purposes of carrying books and a laptop, especially considering I mostly drive these days. But frankly I wouldn't want to ride with it as much as I did with my old one. The flap offers some expansion, but then the contents are exposed, along with the tiny front pockets that are only sealed with magnets. Overall, it's fine as a general pack.
