Another Home Run from Chrome Industries

Comfortable, waterproof, and stylish. The cargo net is incredibly useful for anything that might not fit in the main bag, be it a spare outer layer, helmet, or shoes - the straps on the side make for quick and easy access to anything in the net while staying securely attached to the bag. The only downside is that the main pocket is only accessible from the top, which makes getting to anything on the bottom a bit of a hassle, but an easily worth while trade off for being waterproof. The material and stitching all feels durable and high quality, so I’m not worried if the bag takes a beating - but this isn’t news coming from Chrome. Everything I’ve ever bought from them (citizen messenger, two Kadet slings, and the barrage, along with the large phone pouch and the tech accessory pouch - which both pouches fit nicely around the barrage and Kadet straps) feels like it could hit the pavement at 30mph and come out with little more than a cosmetic scuff (trust me. I’ve done the research).

Lipstick on a pig

I get a lot of compliments on the bag itself and it fits most of my daily needs, but the plastic clip to open/close the bag is cheaply made and breaks REALLY easily. The price of the bag does not reflect the quality it should be. Now I’m left with a book bag that’s open permanently and useless to use. Don’t waste your money on this bag

Simple is Best

The Barrage 18L Pack is excellent. It is the perfect size for my 13" laptop (with and without sleeve) as well a small amount of essentials to get me through a quick jaunt to the store or wherever. I like how it feels on my shoulders and back (male 5'7", 28' waist, 135 lb.). The two bottle sleeves on either side are perfect for water and coffee canteens. Nice work Chrome!

Zippers

Bag looks solid, waterproof, nice size, good looking all good, but what’s the first things that is going to fail? Zippers. Zipper that come with look very bad material, probably going to fail in less than one year. Let’s see happens but I don’t trust those zippers will last long

Fits perfectly, net is useful

The square back and strap configuration on this bag fits better than any other backpack I've tried. It lifts the weight high up and keeps it close to my back without feeling bulgy. The net is also extremely useful for jackets without taking up valuable internal space.

Truly wonderful

I've used this bag for two years now and I've gone through rough weather falls and all kinds of grime and it has held strong with only minor tarnish to the metal pieces and has been my best comrade on my adventures truly a wonderful bag I highly recommend it 5/5

Very tiny.

Hello, I have purchased backpacks from you in the past, and I’ve always enjoyed them. However, this time, I was shocked at how narrow this little bag is. Yes, the measurements are included on the site, but it really is unrealistic for a student to use this bag.

Great smaller bag

This bag is great if you're looking for something smaller that'll still fit a 15" laptop. However, I do wish the main clasp was the seatbelt style (or could be upgraded/swapped out) as this type is easy to get your fingers pinched in.

Perfect commuter daypack

I love this bag! I bike to work everyday and I love the size of this. Good airflow and back support, pockets for everything, and the cargo net is a nice addition for a jacket or bulky item. New favorite daily bag!

Everything I wanted

Showed up way quicker than I thought and it's everything I wanted. I got it because my old chrome bag had a mishap after years of loyal service (don't worry, I want to fix it as a project). Keep up the good work.
