I was immediately impressed with this backpack. It fits comfortably while riding and is really lightweight making it even easier to know youre not carrying any extra weight.

Purchased so that I could put everything I need into one bag that was easy to clean and would be perfect the beach or the gym and after several weeks of use, I can confirm this bag is exactly what I was looking for.

nice bag!

Light weight and water proof which is exactly what I need for cycling commute. If it has more pockets inside that would be better.

This and That

In terms of quality and craftsmanship, the bag is very well made. But with the single pocket you have to be very strategic about how you pack it for commuting by bike. I have a dropbar bike I use for commuting. It doesn't get me too low over the toptube. But when I'm moving along, the bag doesn't conform to the shape of my back and I feel the weight of the contents focused on one point of the curve in my back, which can become uncomfortable over time. Also, it is a one-pocket show. inevitably I find myself packing something out of order and end up dumping a bunch of stuff to get at it. Sometimes my commute includes the ferry. And it's not easy to unroll the top to get at my cleat covers. I wish there was a small pocket of some kind into which I could stuff little items like these. The single pocket is appealing in many ways: for example, I can finally get my work shoes inside without too much cost to space. But it's a pain to find individual items when they're all thrown together. There has to be a balance between a large main compartment and small stash pockets (e.g., a place to tuck away a light). Like others have said, I'm not a big fan of the Velcro (hook and loop) closure. It's already turning the fabric along the stiff plastic baton used for the roll top into a furry mess. That invention just tears up fabric it comes into contact with, collects fuzz, and eventually wears out. Oh well.
