Great first hybrid for me!
After years of trying to make my own hybrid bike from mtn bikes, I finally decided to just buy one purpose built. I'm very comfortable on the upright flat bars, the brakes and shifter work great and the bike glides smoothly and quickly. I love it! No issues riding around a city or on hard packed dirt roads, jumping on curbs, just need to get used to no front shocks. Soon I will mount a rear luggage rack so I appreciate the mounting points. Definitely recommend this bike, $50 back too for members!
Great comfort for touring
Great comfort improvement vs my Road Bike. Straight handlebars with comfortable heel pads, nice fingertip shift levers without having take hands off the handlebars, and nice feeling disc brakes instead of rim grip noisemakers. Test rode a Cruiser, then a drop handle tourer before this bike and found it just felt good. Kudos to REI for setting up and adjusting bikes for people to test ride.
Great deal!
I found this bike online and went into the store to try it out. Taking a ride around the block resulted in my buying three of them! My kids and I all got one. Very happy with the purchase. Comfortable, light weight, good price, highly recommended.
Not worth the money
I got this bike a couple of weeks ago. It did not come with a kick stand, water bottle holder and I saw the same bike for $150.00 less with both these items already on it.
Nice bike but...
I like the bike, definitely a nice bike for the price. Have used it once and when changing gears it is now making noise, like the plate is rubbing against the chain so I will have to bring it back to get looked at
