Decent gloves, terrible connect patches
First, I really like the fit and feel of these gloves. They are super light and yes the let wind through, but these are meant to be active gloves when you're generating heat by running or backpacking and they are great for that except for one significant problem: the touch sensitive pads came apart withing two weeks of use. That's just not acceptable quality at all. Admittedly, I've already worn these over 100 miles of hiking but I haven't put them through a wash and I haven't bused them but with the pads delaminating I can no longer use these with my phone. So, they are getting replaced with liner gloves from Outdoor Research. Shame about that.
Very disappointing
I purchased these gloves in January and after barely 2 months of use (for driving or running outdoors) they look horribly worn and pilled. To add, the touch feature no longer works. I had no idea that gloves that I purchased such a short time ago would look as though I had them for more than 5 years. Horrible product, please don't buy. Unfortunately I don't know if Marmot will help rectify this issue for me.

Gloves look 6 years old but barely 6 months old
I wanted gloves to offer some basic protection when hiking and exploring outside in the fall so I bought these and because of the name brand Marmot I expected a certain level of quality. The women's gloves were more expensive than the men's (doesn't make any sense) so I bought a men's medium and was surprised that it fit the hand of a small woman like myself. Within a few weeks of using them, the black coating on the finger pads peeled off making the tips all silvery [see photo 1]. Now, after 5 months of infrequent use, the material has become very pilly and worn looking [see photo 2]. They do not register any touch on my i-phone whatsoever, which isn't a big deal to me personally but I see that this is what the product is marketed for. They are moderately warm and I continue to use them since they are new, but I am very disappointed that they look like old gloves that need to be replaced!

Almost great gloves
I bought these for my husband as he had wanted a glove liner that he could wear and use his cell phone. These gloves had awesome touch screen capability at first, but within just a few wears the silver touch screen tips wore off. Now he can't use his cell phone while wearing them. He loves the gloves, so we kept them, but just don't get them solely for the touch screen capability!
Touch sensitivity wears off after a month
I bought these liners specifically for their ability to work with a touch screen. They worked fine for a few weeks, but then the silver touch-sensitive layer flaked off. Now they are light liners but that's all. Buy something else if you want to use a touch screen.
Great liner glove
Use under non-insulated gloves and ski gloves when the temp is too cold for those gloves alone. As it should for a liner, the Connect Active has a real snug fit, but wasn't restrictive. Works well with phone; I especially like that it has three fingers per hand that works on the phone. I could also see using for runs in cold weather.
Absolutely useless in cold weather
I bought this becausr I am a Californian visiting Boston. Weather is cold, so impulse shopped and saw these would let me use my phone while wearing them. On that point it works well. But at 35 degrees my fingers were FROZEN. Warming pads don't help because gloves are designed to be a tight fit so not enough air circulation to spread the warmth. Off hand, wish I bought a different pair. This might be useful in SoCal nights, but really useless in cold weather. Maybe Marmot should label their products with something like "made for temperatures above 50 degrees"?

Perfect Driving Gloves
I have pretty warm hands, but when it's below 30° outside my steering wheel tends to feel like a block of ice when I drive. These gloves have decent grip and a nice thin layer of material to keep my hands from freezing up on the wheel. I'm also am excited about the touch pads for the use of my smart phone and more importantly the seam lines that sorround my fingers are not thick and irritating. I was looking for something made with quality and comfort. I found what I need until future developments marmot.

Decent Inner glober
I bought this prior to my trip to Tahoe few weeks back. I slipped easily into my waterproof gloves with fleece lining. However, the finger tabs for smartphone use disintegrated easily after using it for 3/4 times.
Not worth the money
Feel nice and comfortable and fit well but................I did not get them to go to the coffee shop or the library I got them for outdoor activity and the wind just blows through them. Marmot can do better especially with the finger tips. The sensitive finger pads are a great idea for anyone outdoors but again I feel that most gloves are seriously lacking the design engineering that could easily be done.
