Rated 4 out of 5 by from Just what I was looking for I had been cycling without a computer for a while, and I must say, this is pretty legit. It basically tells me everything I need, and I'm incredibly happy with it. Certainly worth my money. The only downside I'd say about it is that the setup instructions and operating instructions were pretty difficult. It wasn't all that intuitive to me. Putting it on my bicycle was alright, but the actual functioning of the computer was tricky to understand. After fiddling for a while I finally got it figured out. The same button can do different things depending on whether you click or hold, and depending on what mode you have it on, and there wasn't any instruction manual on how to use each function. Aside from that minor detail that I have worked out within a few days, everything is super smooth!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid Performance The Sigma was easy to install. It is fairly accurate...I probably need to adjust it a bit because the settings it suggests for my wheel size produce a bike speed and distance a little bit faster/farther than what my Garmin Forerunner GPS watch shows. If you don't need cadence and some of the higher end features, this computer will work just fine.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Simple bike use Had one with a wire-and when I broke that one I decided to go wireless, Once I got this one going it's nice for simple bike use--seems it has to be turned on and off--and if you don't the battery will die--happened to me--So I make the effort to turn it on/off with each use. I am not an avid rider, so I don't need a gadget that is high tech--So far I am liking this wireless device--Was reasonably priced as well-- Would definitely recommend it to another biker who isn't a serious rider

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed This wireless computer is not accurate which is unlike my wired Sigma BC1009. Tried everything including putting on a new magnet(Sigma accessory). The solution was to buy a new harness and use my wired Sigma BC1009 which is the best bike computer that I have every used.

My Sigma 1609STS computer died. Is this one compatible with the wireless set up currently attached to my bikes? And does it have the two bike feature of the 1609?

Asked by: Bookworm
This bike computer is compatible with the transmitters from your 1609 STS. It also has the two bike feature. The one difference is that this bike computer does not have cadence capability. If you have cadence sensors on your bikes this computer will not receive those signals.

I am looking for instructions somewhere for the Sigma 12.12. It is not easy to use--not intuitive. Want to convert out of metric--time/distance of each ride--in real time and totals. I know it does it but I haven't been able to get there

Asked by: JMfromMaine
A user manual for this bike computer can be downloaded directly from SIGMA SPORT's website.
