Material(s) 1.8 mm nylon cord
Dimensions 32 feet
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Product. Used this with my LightHeart solo tent on the JMT. I did find the cord reflective, and the fasteners held great. If I needed to add tension (e.g., when the silnylon fabric of the tent got wet and sagged), it was easy to do so. I practiced in my backyard first and spent a few minutes testing how to thread the cord through the fastener so that it would work right. Once I got that set, the product was fantastic.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good quality but expensive Cord was of good quality but at the premium price, it doesn't compete with by the foot cord from the outdoor store.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Four 8-ft Pieces = 32ft I purchased this cord to replace the black guy lines of my Hennessey Hammock, which I am constantly tripping over. The reflective nature of the cord is fine. The reason for the two stars is because the cord was not one continuos length but four 8 ft lengths. I ended up splicing the cord together.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Reflective cord a must I have never understood why some tents/tarps come with a non-reflective cord...a sure tripping disaster for me in the dark. All of our tents and tarps have had their cords replaced with this super lightweight reflective cord. We also carry a small bundle as our back up rope which has come in handy more times that I can recall while in the woods. Our go to cord in the backcountry.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very disappointing, especially from MSR I used this to replace and enhance the lines on a North Face Rock 32 tent. While the cord is light and strong, it was barely reflective. The cord tensioners do not hold; they seemed to hold alright when setting up the tent but in the morning all four left the tent sagging. I love everything else I've purchased from MSR but this one needs to go back to the design table.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This cord saved us! Less than 2 mm but 200 lb strength? I was skeptical but purchased this cord for our wilderness trek on The Great Divide Trail in Canada's Rocky Mountains primarily to hang food. On day 4 we were confronted with a bridge out across a treacherous piece of water and this "cord" became our lifeline. With a carabiner as a grip for my wife to hang on, I was able to wrap it around a tree and pull her safely through the torrential waist-deep waters. Needless to say, I now have a great deal of confidence in this little cord :-)

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Expensive, and not one cord! The cord is nice, BUT, there are FOUR 8' long cords, not ONE 32' long cord. Can not use to hang food as advertised unless your bears are extremely short. Buy the "Tent Guy Lines" instead, includes 4 "CamRing Cord Tensioners" and is less expensive. Look elsewhere if you need to hang food.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great cord for tents and camping needs So glad I bought this cord. This cord is reflective even when you use a red bulb at night. When you get up in the middle of the night you can see the guy lines & not pull them out by walking into them. I used it to replace the main non-reflective guy lines that came with my tent. I also used it to put a cord on every stake. This was helpful when I had to re-pitch my tarp in the middle of the night after the wind changed direction. I could see my stakes. Now I'll replace the shorter lines on my tent.
