Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent lens choices, really easy to change, very durable to scratching compared to "others" I am a very picky person when it comes to glass, on my sunglasses, ski goggles, reading glasses and even "Iproducts"...I cannot stand fingerprints or scratches and really appreciate clarity in a lens. Every Smith Optic that I have tried has been very easy to clean and keep clean. The lens clarity has been very true and the ease of interchanging is awesome! The frames are very comfortable and the protection to the elements superb. I have used these anywhere from cycling, motorcycling at "illegal Speeds", skiing / snowboarding to simple everyday driving, etc. and they have performed well in all conditions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great multi-lens glasses. These are great performers and the design and value surpass the more expensive Oakley models I tried in the store. They do a good job protecting my eyes when I wear contacts. The Max and D versions have lots of coverage. Know that Smith has many lens color options to further tune or customize the performance you can get. The Ignitor lenses are a perfect color if you are a MTB rider going in and out of tree cover. The grey polarized lenses are very dark and the clear are just what you want for night time mountain biking. The product might only be topped if the mid lens were also polarized but non-polarized can have advantages such as reading a watch, phone or your car's displays.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product Warranty I recently broke the frame on a pair of Smith sunglasses, which are of similar design as the Parallel D-Max, while changing lenses and where purchased 6 or 7 years ago at REI. I had several sets of lenses, so I changed them often, but my favorites were the ignitors or the blue mirrors. I used the ignitors for golf, mountain biking, and driving since they provide the best visibility in all lighting conditions. The yellow lenses are great for night driving. The blue mirrors were best at the beach or bright snowy days. I returned my original glasses not expecting any luck with a replacement but to my surprise I received a call stating my original frames were no longer manufactured but I could pick another frame, all covered by the warranty. I landed on the Parallel D-Max since they were similar to my originals in form, fit, and function. It’s wonderful to see a company which stands behind their product warranty. Definitely worth the investment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Parallel D-Max with Ignitor Lens - Best Golf Glasses Ever Had been looking for a pair of glasses for golf. Had tried others, like Oakley, but no luck until I got these with this lenses. I have a pair of Smith's for fly fishing and theya re outstanding so I tried these. Light weight, clear as a bell, see the depth of field and can read greens much better. Wear them through the whole round. Highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sunglasses! this product is great. I have tried many different sunglasses mainly oakleys, raybans, some arnettes but they all where more concerned with style and cost. I feel smith really created something special with these. I use to get headaches with the other glasses contributed largely to the concavity of the lense. These glasses are really clear when you put them on and I can wear them all day without headaches. They stay on no matter which way you are looking thanks to the inner grips on the inside of the ear arms on the glasses. Comes with 2 other lenses clear and a pinkish hue. those are great too since I also shoot with these glasses. The other brands cannot compare these glasses are great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice glasses I purchased these Smith sunglasses after I returned a different brand of sunglasses. The lenses are much clearer and do not show distortion the way the other brand of sunglasses did. They come with three sets of lenses, dark polarized, a lighter set and one clear. I used them on vacation in Hawaii. The dark polarized lenses were great in the bright sun. This is the second pair of Smith sunglasses I have owned. Next time I won't bother trying a different brand.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from "2nd Pair of Parallel D Max" I left my first pair hanging @ the local softball field & of course could not get them back. So I had been wanting the Green Sol-x Mirror sunglasses, not the way I wanted to try them but it happened. The fit is just right during softball play, they stay secure and don't bounce around. The lens are very good @ blocking the suns rays and have very good coverage. I have to say I have not utilized the other lens for my glasses. I don't really know what you would do with the clear lens? The ignitor lens maybe for golf? But the green lens are very cool looking.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These sunglasses are truly awesome! I bought these sunglasses to wear while bicycling, but I like them so much I wear them whenever I need a pair of sunglasses, no matter what I'm doing. They are superb to wear while bicycling, for several reasons. First, they are designed to protect your eyes completely, front and sides, and they do so superbly. Second, they're designed so that no matter how much you sweat, they never get fogged up! Third, they're supremely comfortable. I literally forget that I'm wearing sunglasses when I wear them. Not only are they impeccable in terms of function (complete eye protection, superb comfort, etc.) but they are really stylish, too! You don't have to sacrifice style for functionality with these glasses. They come in an attractive, well-made, well-designed case, with three different sets of lenses, which you can change out depending on what you're doing and how much sun protection you desire. So far I've only used the darkest lenses (tinted brown), but I'll use the lighter lenses, I'm certain, when I want eye protection when I'm exercising outside in dimmer light or at night. These glasses are phenomenal.

Asked by: mrkimkane
The Parallel D-Max Polarized Sunglasses have a larger lens for better coverage. They are also designed more for larger heads.
