I've been using these for years. My wife and I have expensive custom-fit boots (they really up your level). Have been using Cattrax for years to max their life. They add a remarkable sense of stability and a little nice bit of "cushion" to your stride. Like walking from Vail garage to the gondola, Copper parking lot, Breck gondola to the house, about a mile (that's a lot of wear on hard plastic!), much improved!! They fold up compactly to stash in my camelback or pockets (use a ziplock to store!) It takes a while to get the knack of putting them on. Do it with boots on, cross your leg over the opposite thigh, toe then heel. Take the time, don't be lazy and keep your boots happy and safe. And they'll return the favor.

Both either broke completely or tore within 3 uses. Absolute garbage. Get a different brand. Only one in the photo because the other one broke in half and fell off so I threw it in the trash on the mountain.

Very good for walking in DH boots

After stretched them a bit as suggested, they now are fairly easy to put on. Very easy to get off. Fit packed together in a small pocket. Makes walking on hard surfaces in DH boots like to and from car to lifts a breeze, and by the same time protect the sole shape so they are not worn out and risking the integrity with the DH binding. Not tested on icy surfaces yet where I probably would prefer using spikes anyway. Since I just got them and tested by walking around my house and outside in snow I cannot speak as to durability and wear, but so far very pleased.

Absolutely worth the money!

These things are simple and amazing. You slip them on and it gives you protection to the bottom of your ski boots while at the same time you get FAR better grip on snow and ice. I have been using them for years, and they work great. From the time that you leave your truck in the parking lot until you are stepping into your skis at the bottom of the lift you can keep them one. Them just stick them into you pocket or backpack until you're ready to head back to your truck at the end of the day. I recommend them at least once a day when I am on the hill as I watch people slip on ice in the parking lot.

Save your soles...of your ski boots

If you do a lot of walking on pavement to the lifts and want to save the soles of your ski boots, these are a must. Yeah, they're a bit of a hassle to put on and take off, and have to keep in your pocket, but it's worth it. I had to purchase these to save what's left of my soles, which I'm still able to have replaced fortunately, but I will continue to use these since they do make walking much easier and they become less of a hassle after using them a few times. I just keep a plastic bag with me, since they can get pretty dirty, and just stick them in my pocket when I get to the snow. They fold up very compact. Having larger straps in the back to make them a bit easier to pull on would be nice, but what they have works.

Size up

I followed the sizing guide and ordered a small for my size 24 boots. I can get them on after a curse-filled, nail-breaking, sweat-raising try. Once on, they're fine.

Need XL size.

They don’t fit 30.5 inch boots. Practically broke my fingers putting them on. Felt great walking in them. Guess I didn’t get it on securely and lost one in the parking lot.

Can't go without Cat Tracks!

Have been using for over 15 years. For those have fitment issues, place in boiling water for 90 secs and then install on boot over nights. Fitment should be perfect!

Seirus Cat Tracks are Ski Boot Sole Protection!

Inexpensive, VERY GOOD protection for the soles of your expensive ski boots! I recently bought a second pair of Cat Tracks, because the first pair thinned-out a bit when on a very warm stone area in front of a fireplace ("Oops!"). However, the first pair work fine. I strongly recommend ski boot sole protectors, because they protect the soles from wearing-down -- and it is critical that the boot soles remain the same thickness, in order that the boots be held properly in the ski bindings!

Don't ruin your ski boots!

It drives me crazy to see people walking through the parking lot in their ski boots. They are not made for that. Protect your investment and spend 20 bucks on a pair of cat tracks. They fold up into a small size that you can stuff in your pocket.
