Light and versatile, the Kahtoola K10 hiking crampons feature quick-fit bindings that make them easy to attach and remove from your favorite pair of trekkers.

- Simple to use buckle closures at the front and rear of the crampon work independently, increasing range of motion by allowing the foot and ankle to move separately
- When used with flexible footwear, the LeafSpring® Flex Bar technology moves with your foot to ensure maximum comfort and a wide range of motion
- 10 aggressive 3/4-inch-long chromoly steel spikes per foot are strategically placed to provide a very stable platform for walking, while tearing deep into hard ice and snow
- Lightweight, replaceable Snow Release Skins allow the snow buildup that often comes with warmer temperatures to clear itself from the bottom of the crampons

awesome
Couldn't be happier; fit, form and function. Climbed to Franconia notch NH. Handled Steep ice and packed trail great. Hiked all day, stayed tight, no adjustments.
Outstanding
High marks. Worked flawlessly first day out. Hiked up 4700’, ice everywhere. These gave me excellent traction.
Yes! Day hikes on heavily-iced trails!
Anchorage and foothills are severely icy this winter with frequent freezing rain and temp cycles above and below freezing. Kahtoola steel hiking crampons allow me to easily-safely hike up lower flattop, around blueberry hill, prospect heights, powerline pass, walk coastal ice on the inlet off Kincaid coastal trail, etc. No wear on the steel spikes to date from walking across rocky trail sections early this winter before rain ice and melt-freeze snow iced it all. The straps don’t loosen at all on hikes of 2 to several miles a dozen times with regular hiking boots. Best money I’ve spent on traction gear especially considering the ridiculous amount of ice this winter. I’ve bought and used multiple traction spikes for many years. These beat them all by a mile for severe ice hiking conditions. Once fit to your boots, clip the connector and they stay put but still flex with your boots.
