Not easy to store.
No, I do not recommend this product
The pillow is about the same size as a regular bed pillow at home. Maybe a titch smaller. The kicker with this pillow is that it is VERY difficult to get it back into its storage bag. It doesn't compress much so the size of the pillow in the bag is about as far around as a camping pad. I would rather just stack a few regular pillows in a garbage bag and take those camping.
