Nice, but ...

I was looking for a higher loft pillow. This has it. I was looking for one to be air filled. This doesn’t. This is a camp pillow that folds in half and velcro’ed - it doesn’t pack down small. When unfolded, you have to fluff it up to help expand the air in between the foam chunks inside. If you looking for a packable pillow, this may not be what you’re looking for. If you’re looking for one that is comfortable, car camp capable and a comfy loft, this may be for you. I also like their ‘Pillow lock system’ that keeps the pillow in place on the sleeping pad (I have a couple of their pads as well).

Lumpy but fine

Fine pillow, the packing system is smart and easy. However, when unrolled, the pillow is very lumpy (see image). It feels like there are cotton balls inside or something, still pretty comfy. I got this pillow because it was cheap, so I still do not regret buying it.

When GOOD sleep is your #1 Priority

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sleep is my # priority in life, and this S to S pillow ensures that my sleep is top notch on the trail. This was a replacement pillow as mine was lost to baggage claim. I couldn't fathom a single night on the trail without it. With this, I sleep as comfortably as I do at home. The extra large, while roomy, is still compact and packable. I do wish it came with a removable sleeve to keep it clean when i strap it to the outside of my pack. This is my #1 camping/backpacking item I can't leave home without.

Been using inflatable pillows for

Been using inflatable pillows for years and the best sleep I ever got from them was ok at best. Inflate too much and it slides away from me while I sleep. Too little and it's uneven when you lay your head down and your adjusting your head all night. I also use bose sleepbuds and side sleep making the inflatables even worse. This pillow is the first 10 out of 10 I've ever used. It lofts the perfect amount to keep my neck aligned with my spine with enough give to allow me to comfortably wear my sleepbuds. Soft and warm without causing me to sweat. The only compromise is pack size and weight but the design makes it 100x more packable than a standard pillow. Not to mention I've had pillows deflate on me in the night which this can't. I can honestly say I am no longer searching for the perfect pillow.

This is the BEST

i am a side sleeper with wide shoulders, and i have struggled to find a pillow that will have enough support, be comfortable, And not weigh a ton. I really can’t stand air pillows as my ear gets sore being smushed into it. This pillow is so comfortable and lightweight, made entirely of foam, and packs up easily. In fact, the first night I had a chance to use it, my husband swiped it! He said it was like sleeping on our pillows at home. We are purchasing another!

Camp pillow

While the pillow seem to be made out of quality material and construction, I found it too short for my side sleep position. Also it didn't support my next enough in the back position. In fairness I have next issues for a 68 year old that require me to sleep with a roll foam pillow at home. Probably would still reccomend you give it a try. One very nice quality is its quiet compared to any inflatable pillow.

Great car camping pillow

It's a comfy pillow, I like how when you roll it up the part that touches you head is protected. It doesn't pack down nearly as small as others but if you aren't worried about storage than this is the way to go. I personally like the inflatable ones better as the fit anywhere but this is really nice for the car or the boat and its nice not to have to blow it up when you want to use it.

Living in the dark ages?

Excellent resiliency. The pillow is firm without being hard. Compresses very little during a full night's sleep and returns to full shape with minimal fluffing. 6'3" with large, heavy, dense head (not indicative of intelligence, according to girlfriend). Pillow dimensions smaller than standard pillow, but surprisingly sufficient for good night's sleep. So comfortable, questioning why standard home pillows aren't made from same advanced material. Is goose down stuffing really as advanced as S to S's foam core material? Does a covered wagon really get you across difficult terrain as well as a lifted Tacoma with a winch and a hi-lift? Cradle your massive brain with 21st century technology while exploring nature or in the climate-controlled drywall cave you call home. Tell the goose to fear no more, you won't be part of the harassment any longer. You've slept on it and come to a realization: this is the pillow of the future.

I freaking loved this little pillow!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I will definitely be ordering a bigger one! It fit nice in my pack, in the sleeping bag compartment with my pad as well. But I do have a 65 liter pack. I would not bring it if I couldn’t split my tent and food with my partner tho. I loved the storage bag and the way the system all rolled together! Super fluffy and firm for my knees when I side sleep.

Best pillow I’ve tried yet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very comfortable while still lightweight and relatively compact. I took this on a 50-mile hike to Mount Whitney from Onion Valley in early September ‘24. It was extremely comfortable and warm, plus I loved the Velcro that locked it to my S2S UL sleeping pad. Absolutely the most comfortable back country sleeping system I’ve had.
