Bought these intended to wear them for rainy winter runs and cross country skiing - the water resistance was a must have for me. Overall I'm happy with them, though there are some design flaws. With a 27" waist and 39" hips I'm in between a small and medium, and opted to try a small first. It was snug at the hips, but not uncomfortable. There was still a waist gap, so I'm happy I opted for the smaller size. There is a drawstring, but it's thin and flimsy. If there's any improvement on the design, it would be to have a thicker more durable elastic throughout the waistband and a better drawstring. At 5'2" the inseam was a good length. I was expecting to have several inches of awkward rollup, but these hit just at my ankles. The water resistance works, so these are great for rain or light snow, though it's worth noting that these are not warm leggings - definitely more for high aerobic activities in the cold. No issues moving around, they provide decent stretch.
I bought these for a hiking trip to the Grand Canyon in a few months. They fit so well and are so comfortable that I have been wearing them around the house and to town. The fit is smooth and flattering they can even be dressed up. The side pockets are deep and easily fits my phone. Pocket zippers sit flat and smooth. Plenty of stretch in the fabric and crotch area to allow for movement. I have already bought two colors, will be getting the third color and wish they had more.
Very comfortable. Will be a great layer for when it’s cold or a great pair of workout pants for yoga running any type of activity really
