A trail helmet designed by trail riders, the Cannondale Tract Mips bike helmet lets you push harder, go farther and stay cooler, thanks to its low weight, perfect fit and superb ventilation.
- In-mold construction bonds the polycarbonate outer and foam inner layers of the helmet into one solid piece; it's how all Cannondale helmets are made
- Mips® Evolve Protection; MIPS stands for Multidirectional Impact Protection System, and it means a better helmet
- Able to dissipate rotational impact in certain types of crashes, Mips will give you peace of mind on every ride
- The Evolve version of Mips is designed to bring this tech to a wide range of helmet types
- IntelliVent system integrates maximum airflow into every Cannondale helmet design without compromising protection
- IntelliVent design features multiple brow vents and huge central and intake vents, followed by 5 exhaust vents to maximize passive cooling

Try it on with your sunglasses before you buy.
Seemed like a pretty good helmet until I got it home and tried to wear it with sunglasses: comfortable, not too hard to adjust, good price on sale. Since I quit riding drop bars when my neck was about 60 years old, I like having the sun visor. I tried it on, liked it, bought it, and took it home. Later that day, I decided to go for a ride and discovered that the weight of the helmet went onto the arms of my sunglasses, not comfortable. I think the problem is those triangular protrusions pointing downwards in front of each ear. Lesson learned: If you go try it (or any other bike, climbing, equestrian, or construction helmet) on in the store, take your riding sunglasses with you so you can verify that this is not a problem for you. This helmet sat low on my head, with even the Small almost covering my eyebrows. Combined with the high bridge of my nose making glasses sit high (an issue for fitting ski goggles, diving masks, and safety glasses), there was interference. I had to take it back and ended up buying a different brand without the protrusions.
