The helmet is comfortable and seems solidly constructed and safe, but I have several issues with it. My helmet came with a small pit on the front edge which was either from poor quality control or prior use . The "channels for hold glasses in the XL helmets are insanely far apart. My glasses are already very 15cm wide yet I fear they will break or deform by storing them in the helmet. I question if any glass manufacturer makes glasses wide enough to be compatible. The chin strap will not stay tightened. I suspect I will need to buy an o ring to keep it from sliding out. This presents a safety concern. Finally I believe the Virginia Tech 5 star safety rating may be a false claim. The Bontrager Rally MIPS has a 5 star rating. However there are no wavecell helmets above 4 stars in there website that I could see.
Haven't really "tested" it yet thankfully but it fits really well and feels comfortable and light weight. Vents well though haven't ridden in really hot conditions yet, the visor adjusts easily but the new kind of clip on the chinstrap takes a few minutes to get used to using.
