Helmet fits great but was manufactured in 2022. It was four years old when delivered. Unfortunately it would only be safe to use for three more years.

Should have believed the other review and the price was too good. New Old Srock that REI should know better than sale. This helmet was just a few months away from the 5year expiration date. Almost 5 years of baking in a warehouse somewhere! Very unsafe and unreliable product. REI Outlet can do better

Visor did not detach on impact when my kid crashed his bike causing his head to impact the ground because the helmet rotated backwards.
