But they were just two narrow. My toes and midfoot were squeezed and would cause a lot of discomfort while walking or even standing. I even went up a half size to no avail. They look really cool and the outsole looked really good, but the fit is definitely on the narrower side
Sizes! I started with the gore tex trail maker in 8.5 my usual fit and was spot on for size , but decided to change for sky chaser Ax5 I needed a 9 in these as it was a tighter fit, Not content in the end I opted for the Ax5 clima warm as I wanted the extra warmth, but I actually needed a 9.5 in these because of the extra padding used for warmth So there is Upto a size difference between these particular 3 models! Now the size and fit is perfect, waterproof and warm, very warm to be fair and so far my feet have been bone dry even after stood around in torrential rain a d walking through puddles and muddy fields . Comfy to wear and nice and light to wear . Definitely size up if you go clima warm .
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice style with great benefits, waterproof and warmth. Compared to dedicated hiking brands it holds up as a walking shoe with good protection for your feet/ankles and decent grip across varied terrain and conditions. the light weight helps when covering longer distances. I have noticed a little rub on the ankle where the laces draw the sides in at the top, not sure if this will give a little after time, but might be an issue on long distance hikes. Sizing is small so defiantly size up a half.
Best overall for winter/snowy/wet/ conditions and terrain, they may feel tight in for the first few wears, but then seamlessly adjust to your feet and feel light and comfortable, i have use then for daily walks in winter conditions. traction is good on snowy walkways in Canada. order helf size up and make sure to adjust the shoe laces for proper fit and comfort.
Very durable boot and good quality. I think it is also suitable for winter hiking or snowshoeing, as the shell would protect your feet from moisture, and the Climawarm feature would keep the heat. If you have wide feet, I suggest you go at least 0.5 size up. I normally wear size 10, and I ordered 10.5 for these boots, and it is still a bit tight.
Living in the place where autumn and winter hit just differently this is a must have. Shoes are really comfortable, with ankle support. Water repellent feature is really impressive, I’ve tested it in the chilly and wet morning in the mountains, passed the test with flying colours!
I received these, tried them on and right away I knew that they were not the 1s because there's pressure on the ankle area and it hurts. I don't think that I will be able to wear them for a long time. I had to return them back to the sender the next day,
Quality of the boots is fine. Go half a size up. for some reason this boots feels super tight and hurts the feet until u break the boot in. I'm a size 8 and it felt like I was wearing a 6 until the boot loosens off.
First shoe that has been too small for me. 1/2 up seems perfect which was changed no problem. I Will need a bit of breaking in and is not fully slip proof on ice, but looks solid, grippy and hopefully waterproof side will last.
The book holds up to punishing me for a small hiking. The midsole needs improvement as well as the leasing system for a firmer grip around the ankle as far as grip it’s excellent when climbing up or sending Rocky areas
