Poor fabric quality!!

I absolutely loved this chair when I purchased it at the beginning of summer 2021. Unfortunately, after normal use at the baseball park only, the material on the back of the chair has ripped and no longer gives back support at all. After how much we spent on this chair, I'd expect MUCH better quality! I am highly disappointed. I've had cheaper chairs last longer.

Good height but

I just received my Firepit Rocker and the height of the rocker is perfect for my 5 foot height, The rocking is perfect. My only issue is the height of the arm rests, because I have such a short torso, when I rest my arms it feels as if my shoulders go up to my ears. It would be great if the arm rests were lower or made adjustable. I am wondering if all GCI chairs arm rests feels as disproportional. I am considering purchasing another chair with increased seat height. It would be great if you could add the height of the arm rest in the chair measurements provided.

Purchased 2 of these for

Purchased 2 of these for a wedding gift, which was on their registry. Had to try them both out since there's a 14-day return policy and I won't be giving them to the happy couple until June. SO very comfortable, brilliantly engineered and a carry handle at just the right place! Since the groom is 6'4" and the bride is 5'2", I am presuming they tried many camp chairs out and found these to suit both of them! Excited to give this great gift (at the lowest price around) to them in 3 more months!

The firepit rocker...RAWKS!!! It is very comfortable, and since I am short it fits perfect. The only improvement would to have more color selection...fire red, cobalt blue, hunter green. Oh and a little bit deeper drink holder. This is my second chair from GCI, my first finally gave out after 5 years of heavy use...at least 5 days a week. It was an all mesh chair and it gave way under my 240 lbs. Which I was amazed at! If you want the best,GCI has your butt covered!

Great purchase for camping/fireside use!

Great purchase for camping/fireside use! Very smooth rocking chair. I’m 5’1 and I fit comfortably without my legs dangling which has been lovely. I’ve also has someone 5’10 use it and they were comfortable as well. The back and seat had enough give (wasn’t too stiff). A little hard to fold at first but you get the hang of it quick enough. On the heavier side so not ideal for dragging to a soccer game.

Versatile and Well Built Rocking Chair

This rocking chair is Fantastic! I own a pair of Pod Rockers and didn’t think it could get better bet I was completely impressed with this product. I love the height, which is great for shorter individuals and kids, but still comfortable for full size adults (I am 6’1”). It is very sturdy, I can sit down in it with all of my weight or any surface and it doesn’t protest at all! The chair design is also very comfortable and the back is ergonomic. I really love the cup holder. It’s position and size make for a very stable support for any type or size of cup (coffee mugs excluded). The only thing that I find slightly less attractive to other camping folding chairs is the style of how it folds (like a directors chair). This is great if you have plenty of storage space to work with but it does make packing them in your car a little difficult. Other than this however, I am completely happy with this product so far and expect it to last for a long time to come!

Being short I find that

Being short I find that most collapsible chairs are too tall. They cut into my legs and are pretty uncomfortable. The FirePit Rocker is the perfect height. I can easily sit and rock without any difficulty. My legs don’t go numb and I’m not shifting trying to be comfortable. Please continue to provide this product!

I love the FirePit Rocker!

I love the FirePit Rocker! It is lower to the ground than the FreeStyle. That is great for me since I am short. My feet are flat on the ground and I can rock in the chair comfortably. It is easy to store, set up and close. It also does not squeak as I rock. Future modification, add a cell phone holder.

Firepit rocker

Chair Is comfortable for the wife, stays indoors in the shop, 2 years later the canvas has fallen apart, no sun, but still fell apart, I have a 10 dollar chair I've been using for 3 years in the shop, I won't buy another 75 dollar chair that only last 2 years again, good luck with your purchases.

Perfect car camp chair

The FirePit tricker is better than the Freestyle. I tried them both out and the lower height of the firepit is just right. The rockets bag is so smooth. When you’re sitting in this slightly shorter model, your knees are just high enough to push into this rocking motion effortlessly. Nailed it.
