Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Real Treat We just returned from camping with two of these chairs. Are they perfect? I had a little squeaking in mine, which a little olive oil took care of. The cross piece at the front also puts a little pressure on the bottom outside corner of your thighs. Not really a big deal compared to how much we enjoyed using them though. We found them to be relaxing and plan on wearing them out. What a treat to be rocking around a camp fire.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pure Enjoyment Everyone who has tried our chairs loves them. I love the added comfort the ability to lean back affords. Never could get comfortable in our non-rockers of similar style. Have always felt secure. Have not ever felt in danger of going over backwards. The rocking motion is easy and smooth. The bottle holder could be deeper, but we haven't had a lost bottle, yet, so I doubt we ever will. Fold-up is very easy. Very easy. Same for set-up. Are they a bit heavier than other chairs of similar style? Maybe, but if so, not all that noticeable. Have given no thought to the weight as it has never been a problem for a 5'7" 170lb, 63-year old not-quite-senior. Wife endorses this review.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It Rocks Bought it a few weeks ago and it works as intended and hasn't broken. It is a little on the heavy side and you can't remove the bottom and back for cleaning but other than that it is a solid little chair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This chair is perfect for outdoor concerts The product is light enough to carry from car to venue, the rocking motion is great, and the chair was comfortable. It is easy to collapse in the dark after the concert.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Freestyle Rocker Chair This chair ROCKS! Great chair, compact, light, easy to open, close, carry. I liked this chair so much when I tried it in the store that I bought one for myself and one for my friend. We have enjoyed rocking indoors and out. Treat yourself or someone you like/love to this chair. Rock ON!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best camp chair. Period. Love this chair so much I had to buy another for my wife. It's small and light enough to go on any car camping trip with us. I only wish it were more convenient to strap to my pack for backcountry use.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from squeaks, less comfy than i hoped I love the idea of a rocking chair for camping. I was disappointed by this one. It's well designed, and it has good handles. The materials are quality. The rocking motion was a little shallow, though, and the arm rests are too low... and my biggest complaint is that it squeaks when you rock. Anyway, I didn't find this to be a particularly comfortable rocking chair. :(

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Comfortable I received two chairs as gifts and they are wonderful for event and campfires. The chairs aren't light but they are far from heavy. They fold down nicely and travel well.

I've tried this chair and love it, but often camp in sandy areas and I'm afraid of that destroying the pistons. Any input on how this does/would do in the sand/ loose soil areas? Thanks!

Most lubricants will work, but Boeshield T-9 Bicycle Lubricant would be a great choice:

I've had this chair less than 1 year. I thought I could put up with the clicking/squeaky piston, sadly when I'm up late I can't rock since it wakes my kids&disturbs peace of camping experience. Perhaps my chair is faulty, can I rtn it for another?
