Fabric is soft (for wool) and stretchy - seems to have good recovery. The fit is almost there. The legs are quite stretchy, which seems like it will be okay, but the waist is tighter. I am very much a true medium fit and the knit construction at the waist band was somewhat difficult to pull on over my hips. If you have slim hips and waist the fit should not be much of an issue but if you are curvy it might be difficult to get them on over your hips. Once on I felt like the snugness at the waist would start to bother me after a while when wearing so I am passing on these.
