Great for hot climates
Of all the SPF hoodies I’ve tried, this one feels the coolest. Almost like wearing air conditioning.

Older version was light years better.
I bought this to replace my tropic comfort 2 hoodie. It is nothing like it whatsoever. The new modal fabric Is heavier, less breathable, and thicker. It also fits much looser than previous versions. I previously wore a medium. With the natural hoodie, I swim in a medium. It's gigantic. The previous capilene version felt cool on the skin when soaked with sweat. This version makes you sweat more when it's soaked with sweat. It's kind of a hot box of a shirt. Very dissatisfied with this purchase, and I'd much rather search out used tropic comfort 2 shirts on eBay than continue using this shirt. Thoroughly disappointed.

Comfortable, Versatile, and Eco-Friendly Hoodie

I've been wearing the Tropic Comfort Natural Hoodie for a few weeks now, and it's quickly become one of my go-to pieces for both outdoor adventures and casual days. The fabric feels incredibly soft against the skin, and it's breathable enough to keep me cool during warm hikes yet still provides a bit of warmth on cooler mornings. Overall, I highly recommend this hoodie if you're looking for something comfortable, functional, and sustainable. It's a versatile piece that works well for any outdoor activity or just lounging around.

Good hoodie but stains easily

Feels great on the skin. Took it backpacking and it covers a great deal of surface area including the backhand which warded off some mosquitoes. Only complaint is that after 1 trip, the sweat bleached areas on the arm and where my backpack straps were. There are stripes and blotches of white. Unable to wash it off. For the price, I expected more durable material and would not expect a bleaching/staining issue.

Would Have Been Five Stars… Needs Ironed!

This garment would have received a glowing 5 star review had it not been for needing to be ironed to get the wrinkles out. It’s very comfortable, feels great on the skin, and fits nicely but is something I’d only wear on the river or in the back country unless I took the time to iron (low setting) it. Apologies for the whine, but I hate ironing. Patagonia, what were you thinking?

Great shirt for adventuring

Love this shirt, I bought it for myself and my son to use on a Northern Tier trip in Canada and then I used it again on a 7 day Philmont backpacking trek this summer. It's light weight and dries fast in the sun, also great skin coverage with the thumb holes. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is the seam around the hands started coming apart after Northern Tier, it's still holding together even after Philmont but I can tell it will eventually need repair.

Excellent Sun Shirt

This is my favorite shirt. A nice light neutral color, excellent sun protection, and an oversize fit to keep you cool. Not oversize enough to look too big, just enough to keep cool. The hood is a bonus. I use it running, hiking, walking, or any time I plan to be in the sun all day.
