Comfortable sole but they don't last 4 months of normal walking around the city and they start to crack on the sides these black stripes and bad gluing of the sole comes out in the absence of glue on the sides you can see holes noses in the front are peeling off it's a pity that I fell for these YouTube videos 400 NIS thrown in the trash now I have to look for glue to glue the shoes together in the front and add glue to the sides. I do not recommend. The company doesn't mean much these days, I'm already very disappointed.
I bought these the first week of January, after wearing them twice a week max they are already falling apart! I’ve owned at least 10 different pairs of Merrell shoes (most of them Moab) and these are the fist…(and worst) to be falling apart after so little time. After looking at reviews here I see this is a common occurrence. I hope Merrell will address the issues people are having.
These are great gym shoes for my liking while keeping with style. Shoestrings are right not too thin, and I put a little cushion in them for added comfort. They have good support and traction which is a plus in my book.
Really disappointed in these a month or so in. All I have done is wear them to work and the grey portion over the mesh is some sort of appliqué and has cracked and is separating from the mesh underneath. The upper is separating from the sole already as well. I work indoors and there is no reason for this other than cheap materials or poor quality control. Of course the Vibram sole is great showing no wear and they’re comfortable, but they look like garbage now. I would not recommend these to anyone and would never hike in them as intended. I doubt I will buy a Merrill product again.
I typically only wear Merrell shoes and boots and have loved them. I purchased these shoes a coupe of weeks ago and they are already falling apart and delaminating on the toe box. Highly disappointed
Took them to Norway to visit family, great on the glacier and all the Mt trails we explored all the way too the sea coast. Perfect for all terrain.
Bought these back in November and both shoes are ripping down the sides. The shoes are not waterproof and were never waterproof.
Received these as a replacement pair to the Moab Speed which fell apart in less than 6-months of semi-regular use. The soles seem much more durable and supportive than the Speed. However, the rubbery plastic webbing started to crack after a few days of use! The fit isn’t as sung as I would prefer and while the size is correct, I can’t seem to get them tight enough on my foot. For lack of a better description, they feel a bit sloppy on my feet. This will be my last pair of Merrell’s. Maybe their leather shoes are more durable?
After my 36 year of consecutively wearing Merrills, of all kinds, this has come to an end. The quality, especially of the Moab has become so subpar. Like somebody else said, the shoe just started cracking within the first month. I don't know what has been going on with Merrell, but there's plenty of other shoe manufacturers out there, that can compensate for where Merrell has been cutting corners for outdoors people, for several years now. It's a real bummer, hello this is Matt hi 415 tomorrow great thank you bye-bye because I had absolutely loved everything Merrell sold.
I originally loved this product. Comfort and fit were excellent. However after only a few months of regular use the product has begun to fall apart. So disappointed in Merrell. Do better.
