Snag snag snag
Wore this to the U.S. Open on 7/14/24 two days after receiving in the mail. It looks good and feels great. The day consisted of riding to the venue, walking the course, and sitting in a folding camp chair. There were no excursions into the woods or briar patches. After arriving back at our hotel and removing the garment I noticed three areas that had snagged on something. I never felt as if I brushed up against anything yet here are these huge snag marks. This is a total waste of money. First use out and most likely the last. If you want a garment that will last for a day then this is for you. I`ve tried to add 3 pictures to this reviews but the option to do so seems to be blocked for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased a Carbon blue PFG Solar Stream hoodie at a Bucc-ee's for sun protection on our Florida trip and it's VERY comfortable. However, I've only worn this shirt ONE TIME, and already have multiple snags on the front! I wasn't even doing anything athletic, just sitting around the pool at a rental house when my wife noticed three snags in the material. I haven't even got a chance to wash it yet! At this pace, this shirt wouldn't last more than a month. I'm really not happy with this quality.

The threads pull easily

Probably about 40 shirts that constantly get replaced with new and this shirt was worn one time and when I took it off it had 6 places the threads pulled. Very disappointed. I will be returning

Best sun hoodie yet!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been wearing this too Saturday soccer games, sitting in the sun and heat. The fit is more accurate than other Columbia sun hoodies I've had that fit 1-1.5 sizes bigger. I'm 5'10" 200lb and Medium is trim but not snug. I can feel the cooling breeze when my back gets sweaty l. The hood when pulled over a ball cap shields the sides of my face and neck, and isn't too big. It moves with my head so I can see peripherally. The material is less spandex stretchy than other Columbia sun hoodies which also helps with a better fit. Also the material is lighter/thinner than other Columbia Sun hoodies. The "cooling" seems to be mechanical vs chemical (e.g the blue dots on the "ice" products) with little dimples in the fabric that increase surface and moisture movement that will hopefully last longer. The pocket is unnecessary and could be removed in a redesign.
Love the fabric and the fit
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought two hooded, long-sleeved shirts for a trip to Mexico. I love this one! The fabric is light, breathable, and quick-drying. The fit was perfect. I normally wear a large in everything and the looseness of this fit allowed it to dry quickly. Thumb loops, stash pocket, and sunglasses wipe are all bonus features!
New Fav
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has become my favorite new hoodie, it is so comfortable and fully covers me away from the pesky summer bugs. The wicking is a must today with the heat we face through the next 2 months and I appreciate the sun protection SPF level as well.
Just not worth the price.
First impression fits nice and comfortable. About 1 month old with 1 wash… threads are pulling out, zipper is so small and can barely fit a few keys. Also question the sun rating my back was burnt after a few hours in the sun

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The material does wick moisture well. It is light enough that it breathes. In terms of sun protection, I'd like it even more if the neck was tighter. This is the only negative on a very good shirt.
